New Tyres And Tracking

Hi All,

I have a 220d SE-I (2010 model). It looks like the tracking is out on the front drivers side. I also need 4 new tyres

So a couple of questions

is it best to get tracking done first then new tyres, new tyres then tracking, or have them done at same time

On tracking, it seems all my local tyre centres won't touch it and say take it to the dealer - who want £75 - is this the case ? Does anyone know a cheaper route?

Lastly - what tyres do people recommend, I've a budget of £500 for 4

Many Thanks

Fezman

Hi,personally would have both done at the same time, there are places like(WIM) that will do tracking/allignment(full geometry)for a little over a hundred pounds or thereabouts. As regards tyres your budget is good enough for a decent set of tyres would try goodyears, bridgestones, dunlops, continentals and the like etc, would stay away from budget ones though.Hope this helps
