I use to own a 2000 Lexus IS200 sport am planning on purchasing another.

My question is what is the tax cost of motors newer than 2001? As from research is tax band L and over £400!!! this cant be right can it??????

I have however heard it is £245..

Can someone clear this up for me?

cars after 2001 but before march 2005 puts you in the cheaper tax bracket. it will be £270 for 12 months as it's gone up a bit recently.

Yeah, I got mine last week for a 2002, well 6 months anyway, and that was £148.

Hi, ive got a 2000 is200 sport and I bought my tax 3 months ago and I got 6 months for £121.
