Hi all,

Joined recently and hunting for a pre-owned Lexus. I have been focussing on LS400 cars (see other forum) but found this recently:

Just wondering what you guys think of it? Is the price about right?

Generally, how do the GS300 compare to the LS400 (beyond the obvious differences)?

Looks good, tad expensive though. Depends a lot on what has been replaced, especially suspension, steering parts.

looks nice motor they are asking to much money tho.

i bought a 1996 one on a n reg and only paid £1,100 for it in 2009 and its as clean as that one.

dont pay over the top for one.

I only paid £1600 for a 1999 GS300 so it's well overpriced.

Thanks guys. I've done some more research this evening and I'm veering back to my original choice of a LS400 rather than the GS300. Just the small matter of finding the right one! Still, no rush and happy to wait for the right one to come along. Thanks again.

hi there is another g300 sport on eBay its a 1997 Rreg mk1 for £1,150 looks very nice same colour as the other one.

the ls400 is a very nice car but finding a good one is quite hard plenty on eBay but most are rough was going to change for one myself but decided to keep my gs300 sport instead.
