Flat Tyre !

Recommended Posts

The rail that runs the length of the underside, slots into the jack. There are two notches about 2" apart near the front and rear of the car. you putt the jack inbetween them. Would you like me to get a photo or is that good enough?

All sorted and changed !! Last time I got my tyres changed as one kept going flat and I had to keep it pumped up every two weeks. They mentioned a problem with Lexus tyres and that they would flake on the inside with the paint and this could cause the issues - is this true ? I have look around the tyre and can't see anything obvious that would make it so flat ?! Any advice or tips would be useful.....

Steve o - never considered this but yes i suppose it could quite easily happen judging by the state the alloys can get to - i suppose at the higher temperatures (motorway driving) that the tyres must get to then air can leak from them.

When you had it changed last did the tyre depot clean the rim up on the inside so the tyre would seat properly?
