Is200 Drifter

hi all im a newby on here :phone: i have owned a 2002 lexus is200 for around 2 years i have now purchesd another car and want to turn the lexus into a drift machine i know the standard engine is not up to the job i was wondering if any one out there has put a turbo on or put a v8 in what the costs are and what are the best options any help would be really appreciated

DONT BOTHER a lot of people build up there cars and get to scared to drift it as it will owe them quite a bit.

The is200 is underpowerd but it will drift takes a lot more balls as the is200 is heavy and slow, weight shifting really helps

Have you owned drift cars before - can you drift ?

If it was my choice i would weld up the diff get some suspention sorted and find a track nearest to you that has drift days (like Santa Pod) and get used to the cars handling before upgrading the power.
