How Many Ls400's Left On The Road

I see there are, as from end of June 2012 1700 Ls 400's on the road I wonder how many of those are Mark iV's which I feel will be the vehicle of choice when they reach veteran stage.

Probably a few less now as that data is from 2011.

I assume then the site and numbers shown must refer to the mark I'V as the record only starts from 1997 the start of production of that model - these figures are from DVLA

Anyone on here actually own the very last LS400 registered with the DVLA I wonder.

As I undestand this info the number of vehicles at first registration is the number we are given by the DVLA .That shows the Mark 1 which I sent north in July stock no 65 as being 65th of the 92 that were registered in 1990 that car is believed to be the oldest on the road in the UK.I now have the 98 Mark 4 which sold in the greatest numbers of all the 400s in the three year production cycle before morphing into the 430 and in concurrence with MJM 444 believe it is the best car Lexus ever produced .

High I'm new to the site but thought I'd reply to this thread.

I have two a 97 & a 98 LS400's one is LPG'd
