Will A Soarer 2.5 Twin Turbo Fit Into An Is200

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I am after some information and advice.

I have a 2001 IS200 Sport TTE which I have owned for just over a year, I looked at supercharging my car, but was advised against it as it would make the car un-reliable.

I have now come up with the idea of buying an accident damaged Lexus Soarer 2.5L Twin Turbo (to use as a donor car). Would the engine fit into the IS200, & how difficult would it be. I would be looking at changing the engine, wiring looms, putting the bigger discs & pads from the soarer on etc. Is it possible to do

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

Supercharging wont make it unreliable. Toyota made a charger kit specifically for the IS. It used an eaton m62 compressor. Worked fine. Ask the folks who have superchargers on here.
