You may have seen from a previous thread that I recently carried out a small modification to my audio setup in my 250 utilising a small Blackberry unit to send my music from my Iphone to the ML system via Bluetooth. This is the thread that covers the mod :-

I set this up and everything was working fine, exactly as it should. However, yesterday my Iphone presented me with the opportunity to upgrade to O/S 6.0 I think it was and, thinking that it was the right thing to do, I duly downloaded and installed it. I now have a problem in that the modification no longer works. The phone works fine, incoming and outgoing but, the music side of the setup does not work.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered problems following upgrading the apple O/S?

Edit: Have also just noticed that I cannot play any music on my Iphone as a standalone unit, no sound coming out whatsoever!!

It's a bug in iOS 6. There is conflicting information regarding what can fix it. I suggest you google the keywords 'ios6 no sound' and start trying all the different kind of things to fix it. If you have an apple store nearby you can always take your phone in and talk to the 'apple Genius' about it.

hi Jamie, Thanks for this, googled as you suggested, came across many similar problems. Some guy suggested a fix which didn't appear to work for those who tried it. I gave it a go and it worked for me.

The guy suggested holdind down the Power Button and the Home button at the same time until the unit powers off. Then power it up again and it should work. As I say, it did for me so many thanks to him and to you for pointing me in the right direction.
