Battery Advice, Which Battery Charger To Use In The Is200?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Cold weather seems to have taken the best out of my lex.

Have had a problem with a dead Battery, I have a bosch S4 rated at 12volts and 60Ah.

I have this Battery charger: http://batterytender.com/waterproof-800-usa-western-hemisphere.html

rated at 800mA.

Any ideas if this will charge my Battery up again or should I need something bigger like this:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_270511_langId_-1_categoryId_255205#tab2

Any help appreciated to save me buying another Battery charger.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Hello, personally I would go with the Halfords one,However how old is the Battery?if its more than 5/6 years old would consider buying a new one.Winter kills a Battery that is on its last legs especially with all the extras that gets used in winter eg,heating, heated seats, rear demister etc,as a result it might last a few weeks after charging and then die again.

I have just bought the CTEK MXS 5.0... Best £50 I've ever spent.

You, sir, have clearly never had the good fortune to visit Amsterdam. Go on, live a little. Never again do I want to hear you say the best £50 you ever spent was on a car Battery, especially not out loud, or in public, kapeesh?
