Ir Headphones Not Working

Hi,

Lexus rx400h rear dvd headphones are not working for either screen. They worked the last time I used them which was around 3 months ago. Now neither work.

I've tried replacing the batteries and all the resets I can. The headphones are in good condition so it's unlikely that both have expired at the same time.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Chris. We had the exact same problem, it turned out the headphones were faulty do had them replaced FOC by lexus as we only had he car for a month or so

I'd given up hope on this post!

Glad you got yours sorted out. I think mine is slightly more in-depth, as the IR "lights" in the door pillar do not seem to be on (as confirmed by a dealer). I lifted the driver's seat to see if it was a loose connection but there was nothing obvious. I'm sure the dealer will suggest replacing the loom which will be £££'s.
