Nice System, Nice Install

On my visit to JAE this year, I only saw a few sound system's in the LOC area.

Has anyone gone all out as yet ? Who has the best installed system in their IS' ?

I know it's got to sound good as well as look good. As seen on many MAX Power cars.

Heres a picture, I know its not in a LEXUS, but an idea......

one of the main reasons there is a lack of ice installs in the l.o.c

could be due the hi quality of the standard system

where as most of the max muppets start off with a nasty stereo and feel the need to improve it

Well started slowly, replaced main unit with an Alpine Power Head Unit, replaced the door speakers with 70 Watt bull Dog Sub Mini Units, the rear is now a small sealed 12" 1200W Kenwood Power Driver Sub driven by a Alpine 800 Watt Amp. Rewired the AV through the Versitle Link in the radio. Sounding better already but not enough to put the motor back on the road.

Just need to wait for a price for the rear box and speaker enclosures, I think it was your Dad I spoke to at JAE Steve.

Once everything is in place, I'll be posting up the pictures for the install and also the din enclosure that I needed to make to fit around the radio, that was the hardest bit, measuring and fitting so that nothing could be seen under the walnut fablon. Only a nice looking radio that did not look out of place with the rest of the centre console

Mine is coming along nicely a the mo, the retro fitted screen in the glove box will be ready soon, the new sub box and subs in the boot should be done in 8 weeks or so, the new MP3 player is going in as i'm bored of the one I have, the new power caps (5 Farad) go in next week and the 18m of neons go in after the turbos and the exhaust has been done. At the moment it still sounds awesome the sound staging is pretty good, not as good is I want at the mo but that will change

Hell yes, they are the only people I would trust with my car - the finish is amazing and with the discount it is one of the best value as well, Lem is always coming up with new ideas on some new trick to try - hence the car getting more and more a/v
