Door Courtesy Lights Failure...

Hi Guys,

Can I just get this confirmed, if the Driver Door courtesy light stopped working - it can't be the fuse right? As all other interior lights including the passenger door courtesy light are still in working order.

That suggests that either the ground wire has burnt or damaged the ECU Body???

Im in the middle of changing them to SMD's and managed to get the pos and neg wire in contact.

Cheers for any help!

Hiya.

It looks like you may have blown an output on the Body ECU. The lighting system is permanent live off the dome fuse, the ECU earths whatever light is needed to be on. So you could test the light by earthing the correct side and see if it lights. This will prove you have the correct supply.
