Looking to purchase used (ex dealer) CT in January at 18,000 to 20,000.

Would be interested to hear what success you have had re reduction from dealer listed prices.

Appreciate it is how long a piece of string but any feelers would be helpful.

Would want proper tyre and wheel rather than goo so that is/may be £400 discount.

Did you travel far to get a better deal and if so how did your local dealer treat you re servicing.

Would be looking to get service monthly deal and would not want to have to go to original dealer if bought away from local area.

trade in is probably only worth £1000 at BEST 15 year old C class but only 70,000 on clock but owned by me for last 12 years. Beginning to rust and any bill is now likely to be half cost of car.

Check auto trader for price guide. Also try to have a similar model/mileage on sale at same time to say you are also interested in.

Your Pex will not help, to be honest. You are better off ebaying it - seriously - a lexus dealer will "price" it in their favour - any dealer would at that value. They'll effectively want it for nowt and so whilst you might think you're getting a good Pex, you'd probably get most of that (if not all of it) off without a PEX.
