Hey guys, I know this topic has been discussed in many lengths with various people but I want to ask my own question. Is there any chipping/modding service out there that covers the is200? e.g. piggy back ECU or the likes?

I know you have to have mods already done which is fine. But when I do a search through the site all the topics about any of these mode are like from years ago.

Thanks in advance..

Welcome to the club Jason, I'm afraid there are no easy ways to improve the is200's power. Only way to get worthwhile power increases involve turbo/supercharging or engine swaps.

Only thing easily done is usual exhaust. air filter change, but gains if any are negligible.

Hey and thanks. Yea done all the usual upgrades, was informed that a chip will help a bit more. Now while I don't know a lot about them I do believe its a piggy back Ecu I think the terms are. Supercharging would def be the way I would love to go but it's way way out of budget for me I recon.

depends on how much bhp you looking to unleash..a piggy back alone might only yield like 5bhp. maybe in take and exhaust might add another 5bhp totalling around 10bhp..this wont be power you can really feel in the real world when compared to stock performance. a piggy back ecu + exhaust and filter works best when you change cams to sport ones. port and polish the head, bore the engine slightly, increase your compression ratio to about 11:0.1 or 11:5.1 and extend the engines operating rpm to around 8000rpm but this wont be cheap.... displacement is your best option..

Thanks for the replys guys. I'm not looking a lot more power, just a little more. Would love to increase the rev limiter a little but we going into big money for custom Ecu and that. So I assume these chips can't be got any more then no?
