Gs450H Engine Oil Question

Hi All,

I am looking to do an oil change on my GS450H. Now I am pretty certain that the engine requires 5w-30 Fully synthetic oil. Now here is the odd bit, Costco sell Castrol at a great price. So if I go to the Castrol website oil selector recommends Edge 0w-30? If I go to More Recommendations it comes up with Magnatec 5w-30 A1. So why the difference in grades between the versions? The Magnatec is cheaper (about £21 per 4L) but if the Edge is better for the engine I don't mind paying the extra.

Oh and do I need any special tools to remove the oil filter?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Castrol edge 0w-30 is thinner therefore better for the engine especially in the winter cold starts. i have always used it in all 3 of my Lexus LS400/430 without any problems
