Paint Code Help!

Hi there,

At the moment I am trying to find some touch up pens/the right paint for my IS200.

In the handbook it states that I need ''8p4 montrose blue''.

However whenever I search for this colour all I can find is the same paint-code but a different description I.E. indigo blue.

My question is whether these two are the same colour but with an updated name or whether I need to keep searching for the correct code and description??

It is just the paint code that matters. Toyota and Lexus normally call the same colour a different name, and Lexus in one country will call it something else in another. To confuse things even more many dealers don't use Lexus GB's official name either.

8P4 should be the colour code that you need, regardless of the name.

The same colour code is sold as different names in different territories. My car's paint code is 074, was sold as Caspian Sky in the UK, as Glacier Frost Mica in the USA, and is described as Blueish Pearl Crystal in some sources. But it's all the same colour.
