Dhp Style Steering Wheel For £3.99

Recommended Posts

Ok not a complete steering wheel but just a cover, bought it yesterday from a local discount shop (same place as the V8 engine kit).

Very tight to get it on and after 3 attempts to get it level and with a hair drier to soften the thing enough to get some stretch it eventually went on.

Still not sure but certainly better than the scuffed leather underneath.

Personally and this is just my opinion.... No no no.... Ps did I say no .... Just my opinion and no offense meant but to me it looks tacky not fitting for this marque of car..... Had it of matched steering wheel color you might of got away with it ... Sorry mate

No offence taken, I'm not sure myself so all opinions welcome good or bad, what I would really like is a complete leather recover of the OEM wheel, seen them done but is it worth it on a 20 year old car and then the seats will need doing to match.

TBH it does feel weird now I've driven it but a quick heat up and tug removes it.

I do have a series III steering wheel off my scrapper which is in great condition but black, having said that all the Maserati Combriocorsas I've been looking at have black wheels regardless of the interior colour.

To Mikeyv and Norman. What a fantastic shine you have got on both your cars. Quality Quality Quality. Mike

Much as I'd love that to be true Mike, the credit goes to Mark (Cruisermark), think the confusion arose as I quoted his post, including the three pictures, and commented one line at the end, agreeing with you about the superb finish.
