Hello everyone. I'm not officially entitled to be a member yet, as I collect my first Lexus tomorrow. It'll be a long day, setting off at 8;00am and don't expect to be home much before 10;00pm ! It's a IS250 SE-L on a 58 plate, looking forward to it a lot, been a Saab owner for a number of years. Hope to become an active member here.

Aah nice motor...you will enjoy. The drive home will be a pleasure...that auto box is just great.

Thanks for the kind welcomes. Set off at 7:45 and all went well until Birmingham New Street, where my Nottingham bound train terminated due to a fatality further up the track ! Got the Aberdeen train and alighted at Derby then had a wait for a Nottingham bound train. Then a connection to Mansfield Woodhouse, 90 minutes later than planned !!

Chuffed with the car and arrived home 11:00pm. A wonderful drive home, (except for the M50 being closed, a detour required !) very smooth and satisfying ! Lacks the umph of the Saab turbo I'm used to, but quality of ride and lack of rattles is in a different league !

I'm off tomorrow and will be playing with my new acquisition.....need to learn what all the buttons do ! I'll try to post some pics.

Been a gorgeous day today......I've been busy with the chamois !! Only had it 24 hours, but initial impressions are excellent.
