Nos Consumption

Weighed my bottles today still got 5lbs of NOS in each

So in 4000 miles where (aside from supermarket trips) NOS is armed after 10 minutes (engine must be warm) and used more than it should be to get up to warp factor cruising speed I've only used 2 bottles (10lbs)

Am quitely chuffed

One explanation is how long do you have your foot flat down during noraml driving ?

Daves Nos system is calibrated to be slightly on the rich side. We have seen some conversions that run EXTREMELY rich. I don't why but I suspect that perhaps the installer does not have sufficient a/f testing equipment or doesn't understand the engine wear implications.

The other issue is that the progressive controller that Dave has allows some internal calibration, instead of trying to calibrate using different size nozzles which can be very hit and miss.
