M4 Speed Cameras?

Have any of you seen those huge new electronic signs on the M4?? Well i've heard that they are speed cameras and your speed is measure between 2 signs, i've heard the cut off point is 78mph does anyone know if there is any truth in this, if so are they active yet, I don't see any flashes when i'm bombing down there at 6 every morning, so how can they get you at night?

If you have any info on this matter please reply!!!

The best advise is go through at 70mph

They get you at night coz they have infra red cameras,no flash!!

No they are not speed cameras that info is a hoax.

This keeps getting posted, the same email is going round about the M6 as well, also a hoax.

It's worth reading the article about 'daylight robbery on the M4' on that website.

Could affect one of the members here - if my maths are right, thats about 2500 wronly issued tickets!!!

I posted that story beofre the site crash in November...nobody replied in relation to being a possible victim. You could always post a link to it if you wanted to....maybe new members joined since the site crash use that stretch of motorway
