 Share

Recommended Posts

this may sound completely daft and i may well be loosing my marbles, but where is the coolant level reservoir to check the amount of coolant in the system??

i've looked over the engine bay and can't find it. checked the manual and the pic in there is clear as mud, but i get the general location but i swear i can't see it!!

any help please guys??

Hi Probley been said before but why do i have red coolant coming out of the filler cap...the one on the left hand side of the radiator ( with the pipe coming out of it ) looking at it face on at the top.? ive had a look and all it is is a plastic cap with no rubber washer inside.should there be one to stop it leaking?

Hi mat thanx for the reply...well when the car is cold and on level ground the coolant level is about 3/4 full on the radiator level and when its up to temperature the level goes to the full mark...its not alot of coolant coming out just dont know why it does it...i thought that it would just go out the pipe and wasnt sure if it was meant to have some sort of rubber washer under the cap...
