I had an rac inspection on a black one three years ago and found it had been subject to a high quality front end repair. But as I didn't want to buy a crashed car, even if repaired well then I walked.
repair wasn't on lexus database either. Had a private plate so can't tell you what it would be now, but was in Gillingham Kent.
Hi there,
Thanks for your update.
However you dress it up,Its not right you buy a premium desirable car with modern technology and its easier to Twok than a 2bob motor with standard key and imobiliser .
What happens if and when its impossible to get insurance for keyless because any 10yr old can crack it .do we all buy steering locks and hope !
Sorry i still dont believe lexus are doing anything . Happy to be proved wrong though !
Very Happy to hear you are getting paid by the insurance company !!
Damn!
I live pretty local to you, and I've just bought a set of alloys with winter tyres. I thought I'd got a decent deal but "free" trumps that easily.
Still a very nice gesture and I wish you good karma :)
Well the good thing is they found the car and its nearly ready to pick up.
I wish they'd "lost" my car now if they've given you free 3 years servicing haha!
Finally all is well and i can look forward to picking up the ct. after a call from lexus today dealing with my case the car is on transporter to dealer tommorow and im guessing available thr/ fri which is perfect. And a nice little bonus for the poor introduction to buy a new car from them. 3yrs servicing foc ,thankyou very much. Just starting to get excited again now. Will put a new car thread up with pics on arrival .
Colder weather.
But 28 seems very poor. Have you changed your driving style or the type of driving you do
Best results are on longish journeys on A roads at about 50 mph.
I found the seats in the CT to be really comfy (6'2") but only after some playing around and experimenting. The lower driving position threw me at first and I had the back of the seat too vertical leaving me with the heat restraint digging in and not enough lower back support. Once I learned to bring the base forward a notch (so I could still reach the wheel) and put the back slightly less upright it was much better. I've since done 500+ miles in two days and had no aches after.
