  1. I'm using a Yatour YT-06. It plugs into the back of the standard head unit and emulates a CD player. I can play audio from the SD card slot in the YT-06 or from any device (I have a personal DAB) using the line in function. I believe Yatour have a bluetooth enabled version as well. The unit cost me about £50 and took me about an hour to fit :)

  2. Just keep your cool with them and speak to them so nicely that it would make them feel bad if they got aggressive with you. That's how women do it and get away with murder.

  3. Yeah I've not been too pleased with how it's handled so far but we'll see what the outcome is... I'll keep this updated. He did say though that they can't repair the bonnet as it's alloy so they would have to fit a new bonnet and paint that... Sounds expensive

  4. The Lexus extended warranty is good provided you are happy to service your vehicle at a Lexus dealership, that is a condition of the warranty.

  5. How dare you accuse me of not reading the thread ! Maybe I'm misunderstanding your posts, but everyone else's is crystal clear. You need to decide what your real buying criteria are. Performance ? MPG ? Comfort ? Looks ?....the list goes on. My point remains, mpg is of reduced importance with a low annual mileage.

  6. Beau, if you have any further request for information on this topic I have a 2012 model with sat nav. As previously stated it is accessed through the button on your steering wheel. i can take you through it in picture form if that would help :-)

  7. Hope I am not too late to add to this thread. Definitely an emphatic YES to the extended warranty, however it really is worth shopping around all the Lexus main dealers asking for a discount or seeing what offers they may have. Dealerships earn commission/ have targets on warranty/service packages so they may be keen for your business? You will certainly be more likely to get a favourable discount if extending your warranty by 2 or 3 years depending on how long you were planning in keeping the car? In the past I have always managed to get discount on the extended warranty whether it be negotiating on its own or extending it by a couple of further years or as part of a service package. Trust me its well worth several phone calls! Incidentally a couple of years ago I obtained a good discount (20%) by extending the warranty to 3 years rather than for one, I paid monthly so there was nothing upfront. Then when I changed my RX for a younger model about 10 months later, all I had to do was cancel the direct debit for the warranty with no penalty! (As with anything though- do read the small print first-agreements are changing all the time!) Do your homework and save yourself some money!
