  1. plank: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ar2iRusnnc roll out: enjoy!!!!
  2. the RRP on these was £199 - i paid 99.99 when i got mine a year or so back, so yes mate, u got a steel if its the same one. can i ask if you have a pic of the shifter kit as i've seen some on ebay that look a lot more flimsy than the one i originally booght from GG. mine is in this thread, post nukber 63: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...43836&st=60 That'sthe original B&M unit - absoloutly wicked piece of kit!!
  3. Yea i know its advertised as the autoleads kit, but it wasn't an autoleads kit that i recieved. The packaging blurb was quoted under the ebay link..... To be honest, after looking at some pics of the standard flat autoleads fascias i do think this one looks a little nicer IMHO, and if its they're one that this seller always supplies then there's an easy supplier to get hold of for them if people so desire. Anyone interested in this alternative might wanna drop the seller a message and check it will be this kit that will be dispatched??
  4. Looks good matey-its a great mod isnt it?! @mr mole- nah me and stav have pulse sequencer units to give that effect! Does look the nuts though!
  5. never really been into the mega loud music/cr@p load of bass etc etc, but something to compliment the movies perhaps would be nice?? the bass quality at the minute is quite nice and punchy, but if i can add to it a little for a relatively low cost then i'd consider it for sure....
  6. how would i go about installing it etc?? would i need a box or similar to fit it into?? wasnt wanting to spend much to be honest so if there's a lot of extras to add on i'll probably give it a miss??
  7. cheers for the positive comments guys!! Just need to get my bluetooth fully wired into the headunit loom and voila!! all singing all dancing setup!! the more i think of it the more i like the idea of putting a smallish sub in, to increase the quality during movies etc (even though its pretty damn good as it stands) - i promised myself i wouldnt go down the whole speaker upgrade route though!! :shutit: anyhow, as for the fascia i've had a few pm's and people ask where its from. I found the link to the ebay seller i got mine from - a steel at 12 quid!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-IS-200-Car-Ste...93%3A1|294%3A50 (CS-L095, CSS is whats written on the packet) hope thats of help to some of you anyhow.
  8. crunches, planks, roll-outs - all of those will help develop ur core. medicine ball twists or oblique raises on a gym ball are great for the oblique muscles also!! if ur just wanting to keep things simple with ur arms mate, instead of a straight forward bicep curl, try out some hammer curls - where you twist through the motion. that exercise hits both the long and short heads of the biceps and also hits the brachioradialis muscle so will strengthen ur forearms nicely.

  12. looks lovely mate!! must say it sits low considering its just on -40mm springs! i thought it was slammed on coilovers at 1st. like the red band aroubnd the wheelrims too. nice touch that is!! those wheels u have for sale mate, are they perfectly true - i.e not buckled etc etc??
  13. earthed so i can play video's/dvd's on the go - not for me to watch mind!! no point otherwise! lol!!!
  14. Evening all, Well I had a busy saturday morning/afternoon in between the heavy rain downfalls and managed to get a fair bit done to the IS. The main order of the day was a brand spanking new headunit install, namely the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD double din unit. Why this unit?? Well, i looked what was out there below the £450-500 price mark and after speaking to a lot of independent people this unit was highly reccomended for both looks, quality and adaptability/expansion. I managed to get hold of it for a very good price IMO compared to RRP so that was a winner also! lol. Anyhow, I took a few pics along the way so here we go: starting to strip the dash Dash fully stripped now, bypass cable fitted and video earth cable connected to gearstick surround bolt Headunit installed - notice the fascia mod has also been completed making it all look like one flushed piece. Interestingly, this fascia surround kit provides a tapered finish where the two pieces join and add that little more character to the whole thing. Apparently most fascia surround kits are flat. The TRC/Snow and heated seat controls were also switched over. Some Features of the Unit - courtesy of the Pioneer CD-I220 Ipod control cable fitted in the glove box along with a USB adapter Radio and Ipod Playback using the Pioneer interface Video Playback direct from iPod night time shot Initial impressions: Well, i was blown away by the quality and amount of functions this unit has!! The sound quality on the OEM speakers is absolutely superb!! We were all pretty impressed with how good the sound quality was considering its all running off stock speakers. A great addition to the car and at least now the missus can watch some movies if she gets bored!! lol!! Also yesterday we changed the drivers side headlight as it was seriously crazed and needed replacing only pic i got mid-way through And whilst we were there the horns got relocated - unfortunately the hole most use on the crash bar just kept spinning the bolt (tried several) so we found another new home for them and they can't be seen through the grill now!! before after I'd like to say a MASSIVE thanks to Paul Cross and Redz_UK for their help yesterday!! This wouldn't/couldn't have been done without you lads and its a testament to the club that there are so many members willing to help out. Cheers again lads and anytime u need a hand, give me a shout. Rob
  15. looks nice mate - quite like the colour as it happens. deffo different. keep up the good work :winky:
  16. pics will be a plenty later matey - just writing up in the lab at the mo :shutit: :tsktsk: it was the scangauge that was causing the ABS light to flash - like edeath said it does it sometimes when its unplugged for some reason
  17. Its where your rear wheel is attached :D the big round rusty thing that 5 studs stick out of
  18. Been searching the bay (bored! lol!) and found prolex are offering various bits and pieces that some members may find useful if considering putting together a charger kit themselves (possibly using the eaton charger from the mercs). here's a couple links - i have to question the 'as new' condition that some items are advertised as though. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TTE-intercooler-pipe...93%3A3|294%3A50 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TTE-supercharger-cra...93%3A3|294%3A50 this doesn't look as new to me though (especially in the 2nd pic): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TTE-intercooler-for-...93%3A3|294%3A50 but this does!! BLING!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TTE-intercooler-for-...93%3A3|294%3A50 hope that helps someone anyhow. rob
  19. no mate, i doubt it very much. i'd be absoloutly amazed if anyone survived the actual crash to be honest mate, as unfortunate as that may sound. flying is commonly regarded as the safest form of transport, but unfortunately its when things go wrong (which they rarely do in such a big way) that the sheer cost of lives gets into triple figures - i *think* thats the reason the new double decker airbus had a seat number restriction???
  20. this doesnt look very good. did u think the plane was not in the sea?? its a very tragic accident and i really hope they uncover the full reasons behind it. yeah i thought it was but thoght there would have been some survivors. i agree very tragic accident. survivors?? even if some had survived an impact like that (which is VERY unlikely) the sheer cold will have killed any others within a few hours i'd suspect mate. just hope lessons can maybe be learnt somehow from all this?
