  1. i noticed at camskill they have the toyos proexes 4 at £66 per wheel, i may give them a try if there the newest
  2. cheers for that guys, as its only a small amount in the difference of cost ill opt for the new ones. @shahz camskill.co.uk is where ive seen them at this price
  3. really tempted to get those cheap ones, even if the break its not a massive loss of cash. my only problem is a literally need a step by step dummys guide on what to do
  4. I second that. Feels weird when I drive other cars now! agreed, i hated it at first, but dont like the mirrors in other cars now
  5. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference between the Toyo Proexes T1R's and the T1S's. need some new tyers and ive found the T1S's for £65 per corner, and the T1R's for £74 per corner. both i thought were a decent price but was wondering is it worth spending the extra cash on the more expensive set?
  6. where?oasis? i never even realised there was one there
  7. slightly off topic but i was in the Apple shop in meadowhall last night, i went for a 'browse' and ended up coming out with an iPod touch a new iMac and also got a free nano chucked in too as my student card is still valid along with a nice 14% discount! :P
  8. we must be luck in sheffield, i see 2 different onces on my commute from sheffield to chesterfeild in the morning, and i noticed they had one for sale at lexus sheffield the other week.
  9. looks great, what did u use to clean the exauhst
  10. Ferrari get on my nerves in F1, there seems to be so much biased towards them, there so far up there own arse its unreal. I do however have a soft spot for there production car side of the business.
  11. i have red on mine, think they look nice but are a bit boy racerish, may change the colour when i can be arsed!
  12. my dodgy screen has returned! booo. gonna take it apart again at the weekend
  13. good news mate, how long did that take to do? mite have to get it done myself
  14. the best way i can think of describing mine is like a creaking door. it happend when the engine is on and off, it only squeeks whilst pressing the clutch down. the noise then stops once the clutch is pressed and only makes a noise again once the pedal is then moved again.
  15. i thought, dependant upon the year of car you have, on the earlier models the heated mirrors stayed on all the time
  16. mine has the same problem, from what i can remember reading on previosu posts, its nothing to worry about, i cant remember the name of the actual part put i think you get it replaced when its time for a new clutch. im sure someone will be along who has more knowledge
  17. i love the new led lights the new generation of Audi's are incorporating. on another note i was heading down ecclesall road today (for those that know it) and saw the new R8. simply stunning
  18. when i try and put in the number on mine it doesnt recognise it
  19. mate im useless too im no techie what so ever. once you have removed the 2 screws you really need to give the unit a good yank (dont pull the screen, not that you can as it should be in its closed position). the best way i can describe to remove it is to put your four fingers inside, where the plastic panel cover has been removed and pull with force towards you pushing your thumb in the opposite direction (pushing towards the air vents). you really do need to give it a good pull, dont be afraid
  20. right once you have removed the 2 screws (dont worryabout the clips for now, the clip we were referring to is inside the unit) you need to pull the whole upit towards you. you will then be able to pull it up and out of the dash board. then behind the sat nav unit there are two white clips, you cant miss them as there have 2 wires connecting the car to the uni so you cant fully remove the unit until they have been unclipped. once the unit is removed if you turn it over you will see 4 screws connecting what i can only desribe as a 'box' to the back of the unit . you should be able to see thick black wired going behind the box into unit. anyway...remove the 4 screws to seperate the box from the uni. from there one you should now be able to see the ribbon cable.
  21. congratulations mate....send me an slr over my way if you get the chance!
