  1. actually the qualitat was offered for the AS200 as well.. the car i saw in Japan was AS200
  2. ahh next week has finally come and i've got my baby back again! the fuel pump is hmmm so quiet :) have to run the car in again for another 1000km coz of new pistons. Done 57.3km so far.. then boost baby boost!

  5. nah.. the fuel pump we have is a special design and getting it to fit into the original housing is difficult...
  6. well a few weeks has past.. still no car.... should be getting it next week... they are working on the fuel pump right now. .they have replaced the stock pump with a 600hp item into the original housing. Also painted the intercooler black, looks sleek in my opinion.
  7. i'd say you'd have to get different engine mounts to fit the 3sge in. But what is your aim for engine transplant? Are you going to keep the 3sge NA? or will ur turbocharge it? If you will leave it NA might as well spend the money on the TTE s/c or custom turbo for the 1gfe. You can get the same power if not more than the 3sge 210ps. Or why not get a 3sgte engine instead or 2jzgte?

  11. The pic is on an AMerican IS300= Ltuned If it's in Japan it's the Neo cusotmised front In Australia the Legana front In Europe TRD front bumper (?) I'd say white is an extremly lovely colour. I wish i had white instead of Grey sometimes. If you want more power in your IS200, save up some money. There is no point in going for NA modifications with the 1gfe engine. Grab a TTE S/C and a decent exhaust. Or a custom turbo setup with 7psi boost would provide some fun.

  16. if u are in the quest for more power (ie fast), I'd recommend you save up for the TTE S/C kit and do everything all at once. Chips alone won't do much for the IS200. Even if you do go ahead with the chip and then decide to go forced induction, you've spent unnecessary money on the chip when you could've used it to upgrade the S/C ie pulley or exhaust. I've based this on past/current experience in modifiying my IS200.
  17. nah back in oz mate... how's the installation going? is the car up and going? My car is still in the workshop :( You manage to contact the shop? coz some members here are interested in teh final gear as well.. maybe a group buy can get things cheaper..
  18. Altezza S = Jerry? One must remember the hassels one must endure when seeking more power. My car is 60% of the time in the shop getting this fixed or that done. Im having the engine internals done for at the moment. Not sure on how much the car can handle. Keeping fingers crossed. :hocus-pokus:
  19. HKS and Trust are my picks. Trust is a quieter one, but the HKS sounds much better.

  21. basically if the car was NA I wouldn't shell out the dosh for the Motec. Instead stick with emanage or other piggy back comps. But if you have great plans for the car ie S/C and TDi upgrades, a better ECU would be able to cope much more than cheaper ECUs. This is my 2 cents...
  22. well if you are wanting to imporve 0-100km/h times try getting a higer ratio final gear. Try 4.7:1 or 4.8:1 or 5.1:1 Several companies in Japan make these for the IS/Altezza. I have the 5.1:1 installed and acceleration is much better and the car revs easier.
  23. the shop where i got my bodykit from said they had an IS200 with Motec running around. They quoted soemthing like 124kw at the wheels, I'd say BS.. more like at the engine. Anyways that's my side of the story.. have a nice day :)
