  2. I like the coupe. next car maybe...need a little lotto help. That forum!...for a start there spelling is worse than mine, second they showed an M3 thats actually posed for a picture. Quote from syphonic 'I drive a BMW' sounds a lot better than 'I drive a Toyota' Its a Lexus with Lexus badges, I know deep down its a toyota but its being sold as a LEXUS :shutit: Right im off...
  3. front or rear wheel drive? i think thats a fair question
  4. we use TNT at work and we pay £10 for 20kg and below...I know they are cheap and everythings next day...Im not sure if we are discounted tho'
  5. can you explain the knocking noise in more detail? do you get it on straight roads, cornering, braking???

  8. Hello. I got mine off ebay and fitted it myself...about 30min job...just unclip the old one and clip the new one in place. As far as im aware your Lexus centre will still sell them and they will fit them for you. I have seen them on Prolex or im sure somebody will have one for sale on here...Mat seems to have alot of stuff kicking about, he's a one-stop-shop :D
  9. Hello. When I had my car lowered total cost was £202.10p this incl tracking adjustment, camber check and fitting of 4 springs. This is my local garage just around the corner from where i work, this was done a year ago and all seems fine with tyre wear etc. Aaron

  11. Thanks Anyway I use GoodYear Eagle F1 GSD3's all round and soon to have Nokian WR for winters (i live out in the sticks) In the past i have had Uniroyal Rainsports and even now i think they take some beating! however I don't know what they would be like on a RWD car.
  12. I had that with a cheap one at a petrol station when you buy so much petrol...tried it a second time in girlfriends Polo so i wouldn't do damage to my car :D and it was fine, i put it down to excess glue burning off inside. Mine didn't glow tho' :shutit:
  13. @ Fluff...that was about a 3mile drive home and the Passivated-ness was wearing off or something, there all shiney now after a good 300miles on them :) @ Maddy...I think the DBA's come from TDI (I did a search for grooved and TDI come back with Australian brakes which is probably what DBA stands for) Prolex has nothing on there site at the moment but if you email Dave then im sure he will sort you out discs off the car link. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=34859 If you have warped discs its best to change pads at the same time cos if the pads are set to the old discs then you could warp the new discs in no time at all. 14. Stock IS200 is rated for 130mph or theres abouts? So H rated tyres are fine then?

    Bedford

Loads of IS200's around Bedford area...we had a little convoy with one going into Bedford today grey SE? was a little lost and just following signs to Northampton. Great to not be the only Lex on the road!
  16. As above really. Does it make any difference to wear if you have a higher speed rated tyre? I have Z rated on my car but have been looking around and you can get H's cheap that are rated for 130mph...I don't do that kind of speed.
