  6. Im just being prepared as now i live out in the country we get forgotten about :( I remember last year we only had a little snow and a hill was impossible, with t/c on or off and snow on or off...i think i melted my way up sideways in the end. Im hoping that winter tyres will sort that issue...last thing i wan to do is abandon my car, I even have a box of grit-salt to carry now.
  7. yeh I know :shutit: i got the wheels off ebay then found out on here they are wider, but i like the standard wheels too much, so i don't want to loose them as winter wheels I have got some good tyres tho'. Well write ups anyway, Nokian WR's

  11. I had vibration when braking, I took the plunge and got Prolex's Grooved discs with Mintex pads. All bed in now and I can notice an improvment in braking, the is a nice initial bite, and I have got my confidence back when braking :) I havn't yet given my car a hammering to see what there like at temperature, So far I am very pleased with the disc and pad combo and great service from Prolex...thanx Dave :D Vibration has gone Front Rear Front Rear

  13. Sad to see MS leave, shame it wasn't with the championship but still a great final race. Great driver did alot for F1 and the prancing horse...Hope he has a good retirement and im sure after a few years he will get bored and end up in Enduro racing.
  14. Hello and Welcome to Lexus Owners Club My car is 1999 with 110K miles, drives and runs superb Cam/timing belt gets changed at 100k miles/ 10 years...might be something to keep in mind. My car has not got full Lexus service history but it has been serviced by an independant garage, I have had cars in the past with no history and you can generaly tell if the are looked after or not. Best of luck finding a car. Aaron
