  1. Yea think I should have gone for the SC430, however I'm certainly more serious about buying an IS300 than an SC so might be just aswell!!
  2. I have no idea what size they are Rob, but if you phone up somewhere like Sextons they will be able to tell you exactly what size custom fit speakers are required for the installation. Well at least that's what I have done in the past. It's easy enough to whip the covers off anyway and just have a look isn't it?
  3. I've got my 60,000 in about 2,000 miles but have been warned by Lexus Bristol that it would be somewhere between £300 & £500, depending on what they do.
  4. Afternoon all! I don't know if this is the norm or not but it really impressed me. There I was minding my own business in the office yesterday when my mobile rings. It was a nice bloke from Lexus Bristol, Melvin. "Fancy a test drive Sir?" he asked. I was confused to say the least. I haven't spoken to the bloke before, nor shown any particular interest in buying a new Lexus. Still I was a bit pushed for time so I gratefully declined, however this didn't present a problem to Melvin, oh no. He then asked me two questions, 1) what was I doing Saturday. I first thought this was a chat up line so told him was busy with the girlfriend doing a bit of running around. 2) what Lexus would I like. IS300 Sportscross I said, next thing I know I'm booked in to pick up a brand new IS300 at 10 am Saturday morning fully polished and gleaming & loaded with a full tank of fuel. So when did Lexus Bristol want there brand new car back, whenever was Melvins response, late Saturday evening or sunday morning was fine. So in short they are going to give a 23 year old yahoo a brand new IS300 just for something to do!! What an excellent franchise they are!!
  5. So how much are these PIAA blades? My bosch are just about knackered so could do with a change...
  6. It's a really common problem, CD's that don't want to eject. There are loads of threads on it but I find it easier to just wack the thing, never failed!!
  7. sounds pretty much the same as mine ricky
  8. If you join gold mate you will receive them as a part of the LOC pack!!! They are very nice too!!
  9. Ah ok, with the IS200 it's very easy to remove the air vents, stereo and control console at the bottom, so I have mounted mine at the base of the windscreen and tucked the cable down behind the dash. Still removable but tidy too.
  10. Just out of interest how have you all installed your snoopers? Have you hard wired in to a permanent live and hidden the cable ehind the dash or just plugged straight into the cigar lighter?
  11. so you won't be doing any moding then Blum?
  12. I totaly agree imi. I'm not complaining, but as ricky said the only way to make tem perform is to get past 4,500 rpm as soon as possible!!
  13. Morning all!! All you people getting o the late thirties sound pretty fortunate to me. My 99 has done just over 50K and I'm lucky to get anything above 23!! Again I think driving style does have an influence on that though.
  14. my misses said she thought I had a drink problem... I drink, fall over there's no problem
  15. is that all? Does the toyota one come with the visual display too?
  16. Think he had some kind of a drink problem?
  17. Just out of interest, what is the difference between the Quannan Reverse Parking Sensors and the standard Toyota system?
  18. To be honest I am a little bit skint at the moment with christmas and a misses!!! How long will the offer be around for or am I holding the order up?
