  1. Its something along...when you use your vehicle until the fuel is completely empty and somehow...the filter system can trap air meaning the diesel is drained back to the tank.. (which isnt good, but the priming function resolves this?!) I think..
  2. Is chrome alloys safe to use with the salt grid roads (if salted)
  3. Try BMW Alplina D3 Biturbo 2.0D 50+mpg 214bhp and £120 road tax hmmmmmmmmmmmm il trade both IS's for that
  4. cant wait!....p.s. the Aplina BMW D3 Biturbo Coupe...they mention...Waaaa!! What a beast!
  5. Yeh! you can get these mini winter kits, flowers for the ladie of the house........tanked up?
  6. The interior dimmer switch, keep it fully bright before the "click". So what you do, dim it right down and then dim it right back up but make sure it doesnt click. When the light senors kick in the interior lights will also dim automatically.
  7. If the smart access system fails to work, or your battery is dead (on the smart key) then you can open the car manually using the 'key' which is built into the 'smart key' part of the door handle is removable to allow you to insert the key the chrome part of the handle which is seperated! I hope im on about the right part??
  8. Did you copy and paste this or do you write it? Can this guy even spell?
  9. In my opinion, the combined indicator within the foot wing mirror looks much better on the IS than on the GS..just looks nasty and old
  10. I recently came across a link on ebay for IS220/IS250 breaking. might still be up
  11. Not at Lexus Leicester you don't. I got a courtesy car and that was it. If someone is having customer bottles of wine away I think I'm going to be asking some questions there. DIdn't get any when I took delivery and definitely not had any when it's gone in for warranty issues. Thats strange, when our IS220d went in we got: -Tank of diesel (£40-£50) -2 bottles of wine -some food vouchers to use at greens fitness next door (while we wait) and few weeks down the line £20 fuel vouchers!
  12. Nice one, did you go for the lip spoiler only or the full body kit? Whats the changed spec on these now days?
  13. I have a IS250 SE Auto get around 375-390miles per tank (May I add once 400!!) lol. I always check my tyre pressure atleast once a week. Also previously between my 10k services and 20k services I noticed per tank I only ever got around 340-350miles and this was only because of the tyre pressure!.
  14. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOMs-linear-throttle...id=p3286.c0.m14 ?? is this it?
  15. I'm sure the tuning on the diesel can increase the bhp to 211. google it http://www.dieseltuningbox.com/lexus.html
  16. When I first originally ordered the IS250, I want something to set it apart from (most of which were currently on the road back in 2006/56) I imported the original rear lip spoiler from Sewell Lexus, handed it over to Lexus Leicester to fit.. @ £100. Most likely they got a third company to fit it, however I want it all fitted in time for delivery (1st Sept) As long as its original parts should be a problem. Fit it once and fit it right.
  17. They're not fake! Understand what you're saying though about the design being more fussy than the equivalent Audis but I think they're a tad too understated.............. I just think the extra design work on the IS-F is just to much, especially that bonnet. Otherwise the engineering is wicked
