  1. Cheers again, im really pleased with how its turned out so far. Got a couple of better pics earlier where the sun is shining... you can kind of see the actual colour much better now! Oh and yes Jamie, ill get a better one of the exhaust sometime, just for you lol.
  2. Yeah my abs & trc lights are on and flashing. Rather annoying. Im not sure which sensor it is ive broken and Lexus tell me they are sided so I cant just swap it if it doesn't cure it :( Ill have to go for another closer inspection of them sometime and see. Anyway time for bed I think.
  3. TTE are in mine. Cant fault them really, with the ride height fairly low its still relatively comfortable :) Your right about taking time, im never, Ever taking apart headlights etc again!
  4. is it possible to just say, make the speedometer on its own light blue, ie just the centre part of the dash clocks or maybe the small, battery, voltage and temp gauages on their own?
  5. haha.. let me guess, you bust it while fitting the coilovers too? I haven't a clue which one I need really, but they are £91 each from Lexus so I should really find out as Im not forking out for 2! Thanks, I think it works quite well. Hope the spoiler is ok. Just seen the pics of yours there and it looks great, need to get the fogs done though! :P
  6. Standard wheels were quite badly corroded and were in desperate need of 3 tyres. So I reckoned they let the car down rather a lot and decided to upgrade for not too much extra money that it would have cost for a refurb&17" tyres. Despite what all my friends told me I went against them and ordered 18" Rota Subzeros in Bronze. Fancied something different and wanted a more Jap/Drifty look rather than grey/polished lip etc everyone seems to have now. Im chuffed to bits, think they look great on the car. But of course, your comments are welcome! Also theres a new exhaust on too (prolex kazama) which really helps the rear end. Just want a set of import sized plates, my carbon spoiler im waiting on from Taz off the site and my blue rays wheel nuts to arrive and ill be happy for another while! Couple of rubbish pics, but you get the idea!
  7. always good to have another on my side :D, great forum, you'll find plenty of helpful people and great writeups here!
  8. rather liking that, very nice alternative to the sport grill :)
  9. Yeah I couldn't find any cans etc in Halfords or whatever to do it myself to left them to a local bodyshop :) @ Lee, Done with Halfords cans, Grey Primer, then tried Rover Charcoal and then a little laquer. The rover colour came out a lot darker than id expected but I quite like it though :)
  10. Gutted for you mate im sure you felt like using the persons head as a football!! I don't think I could control my temper if it happened to me.
  11. Cheers... Next month should see a nice transformation, an upgrade in the wheel department. Sick of my corroded wheels letting the car down.
  12. been a couple of times mate when in the US couple years ago... incredible show, jaw was just on the floor the whole time! Im just a little wannabe with my rather dull IS lol
  13. Lovely sir, my 2nd choice in colour ;) I'd love a charger but my bank manager would just laugh at me!
  14. lol the only 'drifting' he will be doing in that is handbrake turns!
  15. Anybody know if the prolex/apexi induction kit will fit under a cusco strut brace? I take it the prolex strut brace fits anyway? Thanks in advance Harry
  16. lovely looking car mate, the flats in the background remind me of the bravia tv adverts with the exploding paint!
  17. Finally finished, all my hard work has paid off... Looks superb against the silver if i do say so myself! :) Before: After:
  18. x2 10mm nuts behind the headlight, just pull your arch liner back and you will see them. Then the one 10mm on the slam panel you mentioned. After that there is a clip holding the light in place at the bottom, you need to be quite forceful to get the light unit out as its quite tight.
  19. Cha ching... http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=38906
  20. Yes mate, your post was very helpful, cheers! Hope it looks ok against the Silver.
  21. Enough for one night, ill finish the rest on Saturday hopefully! Heres the foglight I just finished anyway ;)
