Hi all, I have always wanted to do my bike test and eventually own a Ducati. My theory is if i can ride a bike to work and cut my petrol costs down i will then have more money and maybe to have a lex sooner than hoped after i've sold mine. I've just got a few questions. I know you can do the Direct Access course which allows you to ride any bike on completion (although i wouldnt get anything about 500cc for at least 1 year so i built up confidence and riding ability. How much is this course? Also, i live in Uppingham (Rutland - In between Leicester and Peterborough). Does anyone know of any centres in this area that do these courses and have a good reputation. Thanks for any help guys & girls.

Problem is the only budget is what i sell the lex for and so restricted to age and higher build quality cars.

I'm not too bothered about the speed at the minute, just looking for economy and cheaper to run, think the the one at the bottom on autotrader looks ok (not overly keen on the wheels). 2003 plate with 49000 miles for £3500, didnt think that was too bad.

Thats a bit harsh....the previous owner may just of given it a hard life, could of been young and irresponsible or just bad driving and riding the clutch all the time. Old people can be irresponsible too. Sorry to hear about the problems your having and hope you get it sorted soon and then hopefully the lex can build your faith in it back up again.

Fiat Stilo on autotrader Hello all, I was just wondering if the Fiat Stilo was any good?? I have been looking at allsorts recently and this cropped up, 3 door 1.9 JTD. I know Fiats used to be very unreliable is this still the same? If anyone has ever had one or still does but good to hear your opinions? Thank you, Rik

I see - thank you for the explanation! Sounds like the sensors might be working properly then. It's a bit mad all this beeping! With parking sensors you get a warning beep in reverse anyway (if the sensors are working) so you don't really need the separate reverse warning buzzer!!! Can the reverse warning be deactivated? Yes i believe it can be there are a few people who have done it i believe

The beep was not the reverse sensors but the beep that it makes just when it's in reverse.

Replacement ingnition barrell, £80 A ha, a bit of lube and a whack and that one is temporarily solved! It's funny how often i have heard that

What you want is a nice royal saphire blue one 2001 Y reg sport with 86000 on the clock ...... o i have just like that for sale Sorry back on topic, the 1st and 2nd problem should be easy to sort and just require clipping back in. The 3rd one maybe normal but it also depends on how loud and if it is still then when the car is warm, when you take the car for a test drive just listen very carefully for any noises when turning on full lock etc etc

What's an R31 Skyline? I'm guessing it was the first version but i've never seen it at all? I had an R32 Skyline Gts-T at 18, 300 bhp rear wheel drive with no traction control .... nice!
