i had an Xbox 360 back in 2006 and sorry but i hated it with a pasion lol it went wrong i had 3 consoles and then gave up and sold the last 1 on ebay at a loss admitidly i didnt play it that much but i kinda hoped it would last longer but oh well im half way to buying 1 but just the keybaord option will push me over the edge lol as far as i was aware the PS3 had better grapics etc than the Xbox Rabs

i got a blue ray player :P and a media server, not so much getting used to the controllers, i just cant do it lol

thats what i was thinking. from looking on the net you can plug a keyboard in to use it but i cant find any reference to using it in the gaming enviroment help lol

thinking of getting one every one raves about them and ido have an empty shelf on my tv stand that is calling out for a PS3 BUT Im a pc guy i can never get to grips with the hand controlls so can you play the games using a keyboard ?? cheers guys

So i have taken delivery of this phone and seem very happy with it so far, Only problem is that i cant get outlook 2007 to sync with it now 2003 is fine 2007 is a no go unfortuantly i have no internet at home to try and work this out well not till next week so thought i would ask. Does any one know where i can obtain a cheap :winky: version of TOMTOM to install on it as the version i have only works on a nokia phones i think. Need a version designed for Windows mobile 6.1 or maybe a different NAV software i have read mixed reviews about the inbuilt GPS hardware but ill give it a go if the price if right lol without starting a phone war personally i do prefer this to the Iphone i have tried the iphone just didnt like it lol Rabs

i found that it was more expensive to insure my car in my dads name with me as a 2nd driver so i tried insuring it in my name with him has the second driver down as a regular user and that seemed to help im 23 with 1 years NCB and all my mods declared and comes to around the 1300

Me plus 2 all 3 days might come down thursday night to set up gear if its wanted again

buy a tent for that and re use it

im surethis mod can be made to work on all models with a little work etc the basic wiring will be in all the cars to do it just need to add the box of tricls to make it happen lol

yes this does work with the mirror closure, thisunit only works when the acc is on. mirror closure activates when car is off its a great function might do the drivers side now lol

well i will go to maplins in the morning and get the parts to do the resistor and diode adaption and i understand that i will need to make sync amp so need to get those bits to but i have hope lol

Hey Mole yeah you have a potentoimeter to adjust the the amount it dips down by and the amount it returns by i have no problem fitting this for you mate when your next down this way rumour has it that your coming down very soon or so some one said lol so, it took me about an hour or so to fit but pay no attention to the fact i have used crimps this is purely whilst its in test mode in about a week or so i will change them to solder joints and heatshrunk as per everything else i have done in the car lol

well thats ok as i have various video converters for work all of which have a transformer to bring them down to 12v so i recon one of these might work only 1 way to find out though ok so 1st things 1st i have to test the screen actually works lol from the diagrams i get thesepin details pin 16 = red pin 4 = green pin 17 = blue pin 5 = sync pin 1 = 12v pin 14 = acc pin 22 = ground pin 2 = illumination am i right in assuming that all the power comes down the ribbon cable to the monitor, before i start probing does the monitor only power up when it detects a signal or am i missing something simple cheers

Ok this has been covered by a few people looking at ways to make this work well i have it now check out the vid's PLEASE WAIT FOR VIDEO TO LOAD PLEASE WAIT FOR VIDEO TO LOAD Here is the box of tricks the tilt amount is fully adjustable as it the amount it will return by there is a time delay of about 5 seconds once you take it out of reverse before the mirror returns back to its home position i will post instructions of how to fit this and where to get this from once i have fully tested it in the car Let me know what you all think here is it all installed

Hi Redz Cheers i got that in a download version lol was wondering if you have any further details anything that the workshop manual doesnt cover sort of things that you only find out out by trying etc and things not to do cheers

mate.. ive covered this quite a few times and have offered units for sale but nobody was interested!! its rgb sync with quite a high sync output required and not easy to get a unit that does this but i have one thats been in and working forn for nearly a year.. pm me if you are interested.
