does anyone have the wiring information to make the NAV unit work with an RGB converter i need to try and test the current nav screen make sure it work before i get to finacialy comitted to this route failing this anyone know the size of the screen i would need to replace my current one cheers

Ok so i have a sat nav unit and i want to test it. i will be looking at converting it to accept a composite input in the very near future this is so that it will accept a CAMP 2, however i cant find what resolution this requires or any detailed specs (admitidly i not been looking that hard) failing making it work i might buy a screen to go in the existing housing which at current has the 5" screen in it cheers

So what are you able to get can you post up a list of parts and prices :P only kidding mate youll find itspeoplesearching old threads and just pm'ing from them

checkto see if there was any cameras covering that area at all even if nothing to do with the garage i feel for you mate its a disrgace what some people do

I didnt even attempt driving my car i took the vectra just as bad had lots of sideways down the country roads but there aresome right prats out that are speeding down the roads and doing spins etc on public roads

does sound like a power draw trigger is the headunit wired up correctly with the ACC and 12v feed if reversed head unit will be on all the time thus giving a power draw and triggering alarm (possibly) i didnt think the IS200 had Power sensing circuits i might have missed that bit though lol

plain and simple if you dont declare the mods you make you are AS BAD as those without insurance or tax or mot i think you will find most insurance companys only chrage you extra on what they call performance mods which tend to be things under the engine which deviates form the factory standard i put my supercharger on and my insurance went down. in my opinion your STUPID not to declare your mods even more stupid to try and decieve the insurance companys the only reason prices go up if you declare the mods are because of some factors your a young driver and you have been branded the same as all the boy racers you have had accidents be it your own fault or others your in a high crime area some insurance companys favour some cars over others for example 1999 vauxhall vectra with admiral was more expensive than 2002 Is200 with admiral when i put the supercharger on my car and changed to adrian flux it was cheaper than with admiral to insure the car with mods declared

with windows vista itputs them as windows contcts and for some reason that doesnt store numbers just emails and i cant work out how you change it to put them into outlook

im trying to get all my contacts from my nokia N95 8gb into my outlook it wont let you drag and drop the VCF files into it you can only convert 1 file at a time as standard into outlook its winding me up now as i have over 300 contacts lol and dont wantto sit converting 1 by 1 cheers

as this is still my 1st lexus i cant comment on everything but all my service work has been done without any hassle and booked in and done normally within a week of me calling the only thing is some times i ahve been given a toyota car but thats not a majour issue a loan car is a loan car as long as it gets me from a - b. When i had an accident lexus took over all controll of my claim for me i didnt have to do anything they spoke to insurance and made it clear the car was being repaired there etc (i didnt expect them to dod that so was pleasntly supprised after all i was still in a bit of shock motorway pile ups do that to you lol) Shortly after the car had been repaired it developed knocking noises from suspension which i was advised by a garage was down to an item not being repaired at the accident when i returned to lexus they said it was general ware and tear HOWEVER they were more than happy to meet me half way on the cost to have the item fixed so i was really happy with that i get calls every now and then asking how my car is going if there are any problems etc and of course a call when they would like some money due to it needing a service. although there pricing seems to be quite high on some items there is always room to haggle and if your gold you have more chance of a better that 10% sometimes. it always pays to treat people how you wish to be treated.

what is the base like on the sub as thinking of getting one or maybe 2 of these to maximise space etc or maybe buy the subs and manufacture my own box to hold 2 hmmm

Ok well 1 week on and the seller has emailed me stating the following i can collect the gauges once they come into stock at his place once they are in he will reissue me the invoices ALTHOUGH i have just looked on his ebay shop and the prices he is selling the stuff for has now rocketed to £210 per gauge i have a sneaking suspicion he will be upping my price for the items here is my dilema 1) no where on the ebay add does it state that he has to import the items 1st 2) when i try emailing his private email they bounce back, but he responds to EBAY messages 3) all he will say is lets wait for an ETA from Defi before he sends me over the invoices i think there not going to materialize i have now been looking ta other gaues and came accross BLITZ MD gauges http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-176.aspx what are peoples opinions of these do they need a controller doesnt say they do on the site so thought i would ask you guys it also says mechanical but they says all sensors and wiring is included confused Rabs

i managed to buy all 3 bits i need including sensors new on ebay £380 as opposedto the store prices of just under £500 so i did ok i think just waiting to se if the seller will combine postage as he selling each item plus delievry no combined is listed but i somehow doubtthat 3 items is going to cost 30 quid to deliver lol

ok looks like defi gauges are off my shopping list now due to the price increase i had looked around and the gauges came it at around the £300 mark which i could handle but the new price increase sees some items rocketing to over 100% increase defi link controll unit was £50 ish and now is over £100 disgracefull prices now so looks like my gauges will have to wait again the cost to buy the 2 gauges and controll unit is almost he same as going to germany i know which i would rather
