  1. Apologies for commenting on your LS400 forum, nice to know we're all welcome. Won't make the same mistake again. I wasn't trying to offend you or belittle your comment. Was just having a laugh over the Rolls Royce comment, was meant to be light hearted, sorry. I'll take myself and my "wee" IS back to the IS forum and leave you to your obviously more superior Japanese Rollers that require £80 coolant. I was just relaying information I'd been given from a Lexus dealer that's all and trying to save the OP a few quid. Yeah don't go I would probably have an IS if I wasn't a fat old man.
  2. Just an update all sorted. more on my thread just got my ls 400 converted this weekend. So as to not hyjack your post anymore Jon.
  3. OK back from Wales. I suppose the only way you can test a company to see how good they really are is when you have a problem. I am pleased to report profess came up trumps. What started as a horror story became a fairy tale. At no time did Leon or Anjay try to wriggle out or deny any responsibility for the poor state of my conversion. Leon held himself personally responsible ( even though he was taken suddenly very ill 5 weeks ago). It was a mixture of events that lead to my car being rushed by a fitter who wasn't up to standard ( It will never happen again as systems have & are being put into place to make sure) Leon & Anjay really took this seriously ( a nicer & more honest couple of blokes you couldn't wish to meet). OK my car the conversion has been completely redone a neater job I couldn't wish for It performed perfect on the way home. I received a lot more in compensation than I asked for. All faults were rectified, the car has been valeted inside & out. They had some touch in paint made for it which they gave me. Leon devoted 8 hours of his time to me even took me for lunch while the car was being valeted outside. So in conclusion yes I would use Profess again as in the very very unlikely event that something didn't go right you are in safe hands. They really couldn't have done more to resolve the issues A1+. So anyone thinking of a conversion please don't let my initial experience put you off Profess as I am quite sure it won't happen again. This is my true feelings about the saga with no pressure from Profess. Thanks Mark
  4. Going to pick the Ls up tomorrow, the loan car a nissan QX 2.0 V6 isn't to bad a motor. I am looking forward to getting back in the ls. Got to say Leon has been great at keeping Me updated on what's been going on. I will post on Sunday what the outcome is looks all good so far.
  5. I had one for a very short 5 weeks went back to a LS 400, Voice command everything, keyless entry & go 6 speed auto box with tiptronic. 2005 on has radar cruise control 18'' alloys. I'm sure there must be outher bits & bobs, someone will be along soon i'm sure.
  6. Hi who are your fleet insurers as we are looking at going that way.
  7. Im paying around that at 47 full ncb never had an accident or claim. who are you insured with.
  8. It looks like a multipoint system but I cant see the injector rails. If it is running rough on gas something is wrong. It should run the same if not smoother. I would get it seen to as you could be doing damage if its running lean.
  9. That looks a very strange set up & a real mess of an install, I would take it somewhere to get it inspected if I was you.
  10. The more kms you drive the smoother it will get. The lpg will clean all the carbon deposits out of your engine & exhaust.
  11. Hi I am & I will get it all in writing signed before I accept the car back Thanlk you all for your input Mark I now have to go & change some shocks on the Powervan.
  12. Hi Mike I am in no way holding your recommendation to blame I was just very unlucky, The work I saw on Saturday was of a superb standard. Which I am sure mine will be now.It seems the fitter who was let loose on the front end of my car was new over from Poland & it seems not overseen on what he was doing. The boss was away as was the head of workshop for the weekend, Hew was cracking the whip I assume too many cars were booked in for the people available. So things got rushed & didn't come anywhere near their normal standards. Leon didn't try & make excuses took full responsibility & is going to put things right. He has taken this very seriously & vows it will never happen again. I was treated in a very polite professional manner & will be receiving updates on what their findings are actions taken . They have 30 odd hd cameras in & around the workshops & are scrutiniseing all the footage of what happened to my car I cant ask for more really. I drove away in the loan car satisfied that I could leave mine in Leons hands. Which was something I was doubtful would happen before I arrived.
  13. Yes I did some time ago I'm not sure how though. Mike More than a 1000 posts.
  14. Hi if you are looking at an ls460 they are direct injection. At the moment the only company making direct injection kits is AC Stag I believe (correct me if I am wrong) these kits are car specific so you would have to check if one is available for the 460. Maybe you should look for an lpg nissan micra or alike for your commute.
  15. Me aswell I have given them the chance to make things right, I was there a good 3 hours going over things & I do honestly believe things will be put to right. They fully understand that it takes a long time to build a good reputation & a very little to spoil it. All I can say is I am resting a bit easier at the moment.
  16. Hi the tank sits 30mm proud so I will raise the floor & make some storage for first aid kit tools bulbs ect. I got the 350bhp vapouriser & hana injectors will be fitted. No flashlube as its not required has come to £1440.
  17. Hi yes everything will be sorted to my satisfaction, They have asked me to come up with a sum for compensation for my time on top.
  18. Thanks Mike, That's what they are going to do. Its a pain but in the end it looks like i'm going to get a top conversion. I don't know who was more angry me or Leon. So far I am happy with the way he has gone about dealing with me. Things can go wrong & he has stepped up to the mark with no backtracking. I've just been an unfortunate victim of a lot of different factors going wrong.
  19. Ok been back to profess with the problems with the conversion. Leon was mortified when he saw it. Its in there for the week getting sorted out. will keep you posted.
  20. OK update just got back from Profess, The boss is back he had been ill for 5 weeks, He listened to all my complaints issues, Looked over the car & was genuinely mortified He even pointed out some things he was not at all happy with. Held his hands up straight away. I was led around the workshops & shown all the conversions that were going on today all of them looked really professional . The whole conversion is coming off they are going to check the car out 100% dedicate their top men on it. I am sure they are going to do a top job. I will be compensated for my time & expenses & have a courtesy car for a week. While they sort out the car. One of the fitters got the sack there & then on the spot. It feels like a different world down there compared to last weekend. Coming away I feel confident I am leaving my car in safe hands. When I arrived I was really uncertain if I wanted them to lay a hand on it. Leon even encouraged me to post on this site & professes about my experience. He seems a really genuine & honest bloke & is blaming himself for failing to have a system in place for being Ill. So I will see what happens next watch this space.
  21. Sorry seems I hijacked your post. Thanks for all the support I only got 2.5 hours sleep last night with it going through my head. had a good check under the bonnet tonight before driving back tomorrow, lucky I did one of the water pipes leading to the vaporiser is chafing against a sharp metal edge so put some card behind it.
