    I went from an omega to an Ls 400 6 years ago the one to go for is the mark4 on ebay with 68k on the clock £2750 owned by a member on here . i would snap it up but just got mine gas converted. the best advice I can give.

    Hi I have a set of pre face lift alloys up for grabs which I bought to put winter tyres on for my 430 which I no longer have, they need a refurb the caps are in very good condition though. Buyer would have to collect from Ilford Essex greater London. They will fit ls 400s also. Should do someone a turn thanks Mark. ps I will get some pics on at the weekend

    As title says I have a set of 430 17" standard wheels, I bought them to put winter tyres on for my 430 but have gone back to a 400. They need a refurb the centre caps are in very good condition. Buyer collects from Ilford Essex East London.

    Hi Adrianne £2300 is way to much money for the year & miles.If the car was in absolute mint condition £1300 would be more like it. Check autotrader & ebay you will find you could pick up a low mileage mark4 for around the same money. Some members on here have cars for sale also. I am sure they will message you soon with the details.

    When you go abroad they have the adaptors in the stations for you to use ( I Can't see a problem with it ) home made adaptors to fill gas bottles is a no no though.

    Yes it has a thread on both ends 10mm to tank & the other end to accept European adaptors.

    Should be checked warm not cold see if its up then, Coolant can be bought off ebay £26 for 5 litres concentrated delivered. Have checked it cold, warm and hot, still on the low marker.     Break even for me will be about 10 months or 10,000 miles, If I drove the same on gas as petrol it would be a bit earlier.

    I agree they should either rely on word of mouth OR their own advertising UNLESS of course they heavily discounted the price for the publicity I was that impressed with the service I got, I asked to have the sticker on the back. They really are a top company & bunch of blokes to deal with.

    Just thought I would post some pics of my conversion, Which is running purrfectly 95 litre tank in boot spare wheel well AC stag 300 premium ecu OMVL 350bhp vapouriser Hana injectors vented filler point inside petrol flap (very neat) Economy seems as good as the brc system I had on my last ls400 ( I don't drive as light footed on lpg as I did on petrol) I am getting apx 35 mpg On my weekly commute & 47 mpg on the run equivalent.

    As said an advisory on slight movement in a bush isn't cause for panic you may be able to drive it for 2 or 3 years before it becomes serious. If you get your mechanic to get a pry bar on all the bushes you could end up spending a small fortune to get it all perfect brand new. I would get that bush checked & see how much or little movement there is. Get the lpg conversion & stick the money you save aside to do the bush.

    Its to disable the ejector seat, The thing with the wire is to find it again, the second part to this is in the tool kit marked get wife to swallow.

    Partially seized calliper would be my first point of call 1 piston out of the 4 probably. as the calliper gets warmer the piston seizes.

    If you take the A40 then the road through forest of dean to Monmouth then A40 to A465 its a nice route takes 4 hours for me in Ilford Essex.

    Hear Hear or is it here here, I have a honda vfr400nc30 motorcycle in my front room just to look at & polish s a thing of beauty. If I could get a mint low mile ls400 in aswell I would ( the better half likes the front of the house as it is unfortunately ).
