  1. great suff. will take it to the garage tomorrow.
  2. great link mate. do you remember what lexus charged to lube it up? did you watch the guy do it? If so was it easilly accessable from under the car or does anyone have a picture of where it is as i'll lube it myself if it's easy to get to.
  3. female (depends on the model to bandit :) )
  4. dont think it's actual smoke Noel (unless he has a flamer kit thats not funtioning properly ) just a mist. I know what he's on about, its just hard to describe. Like steve said, nothing to worry about though!
  5. mine did it at low speeds especially when turning, turned out to be worn caliper pins on the front drivers side. had them changed when i changed the pads alot of months ago and its never done it since.
  6. honestly......... i prefer the pink one! it's different like the canary yellow 200.
  7. its just worrying as i keep expecting something to snap!
  8. Cheers for the quick reply Kam, acceleration is normal, as is the biting point. its just annoying and embarassing when driving down a busy street. Whats the clutch release bearing do?
  9. My clutch has started to squeek whenever i press/depress it. It's alot louder when the cars cold and then quietens down but remains the more i travel. Ive opened my door and it sounds like its coming from under the car but not sure if its something that might just need lubing up or if its something on its way out! any idea's??
  10. not at all, and the damage done by the bump would have knocked the geometry out anyway so i doubt they'd be able to say there was a difference.
  11. it blew me away first time i played it! the attention to detail was fantastic especially that of the interior. you have a pink IS-f might be your profile picture ive seen it on.
  12. Thought you might have done having seen your avatar pic 2D you'll be more of a Forza or Test Drive kind o' guy then Wylie? I must admit, i changed from the dark side of street racer style games after i'd played TDU.
  13. have you not sprayed it pink yet 2D :)
  14. not personally, but a quick search on ebay show's faulty ones going for that! someone must be able to fix them for peanuts and then sell them on for the £280ish working ones go for.
  15. Autosound are great. One of the guys from there fitted out my Corsa with my Alpine system. Everything he did was thorough and professional! But depending on cost i would buy a new aftermaket stereo! you'd save loads and probably get so much more for the money. You could even sell this one on eBay as faulty with error 1 and you'll probably get £100 pound for it!!
  16. Actually if you read your policy they'll only cover about £250 worth of ICE. Stav Direct Line covered me for £1000 on my first car and Churchill are about the same with the Lex
  17. to have it replaced yourself, it'll cost about £400! Like 2D said, if you're fully comp it'll cost you about £50 and wont effect your premium!!!
  18. but increasing your policy when you're making your car safe is absurd! My S has been made to look like a sport (with the exception of the interior and sun roof) if i told any insurance company i have rung for a quote then they wont insure me because im under 25. but if i went out and bought a sport then the premium just goes up £120. Where's the logic!?!? also, you can upgrade your ICE and have thousands of pound worth of kit in the car (surely something that would make it more desrable to thieves!) yet your premium doesn't increase! RANT NOW: Insurance companies can charge what they want because we MUST hve insurance, it pi55e5 me right off as i havent made a claim or had an acident or any points on my license since passing my test (and ive paid over £4000 in premiums in 4 years).
