  1. im waiting for him to reply to the question. the sickening thing is i am going to bournemouth with work in a week or so but ill be off on the train and would struggle with them so will have to pay the £89 delivery.
  2. does it charge while connected to the GPS signal? or does the mobile service provider charge to run the application? people could send you their sd cards for the phone with a self addressed envelope and you could load it on and send it back
  3. It is a great car, looks fantastic in yellow too. Fog light does need sorting tho IMO.
  4. its a great price. when i spoke to leeds tho the guy said they didnt do them for the '99 model, but chris gave me the part number for some and Matt's confirmed they wil fit the '99. part number is PZ439-C1721-00

  10. they do their own now. it's the 'lexus care' sceme but when i was signed up i was told it was 15% off labour and not parts. the dope i spoke to yesterday said they had stopped the owners club one. ill be speaking to the head of servicing on monday so ill mention it to him them.

  12. i'll get the springs ordered on monday then. Cheers again matt for the help with this whole issue, ever thought about working for Lexus?
  13. its more the springs. The dealership said the part number for the '99 was no longer available. So i asked Chris.s for the part number he used when he ordered some previously and thats when Lex Leeds said they wouldnt fit because it didnt mention the '99 model on his computer screen
  14. does anyone know for sure if the shocks and TTE springs for a 2004 sport would fit a '99 S? Guy at the parts desk was useless, and didnt have a clue. also, who should i notify that Leeds dealership have stopped offering the gold members discount?
  15. my cd's roll around in the pocket thing in the drivers door. Glove box is full with locking wheel nut key, pliers, couple of screw drivers, A-Z (old skool i know) my first gear stick nob, and a box of matches just incase i need to start a fire.
  16. if i get the going rate of 40p a mile for petrol then ill drive round cleaning up the streets :)
  17. national curfew depending on age. and if a kid is cought out after their curfew twice they go to a detention centre and the parents get a hefty fine which can go towards the running of the centre.
  18. i got a bellow down the street and if i was out of ear shot the message was relayed so it would go another couple of houses.
  19. i know what you mean about the groups in town. although there was always a big teen presence where i was brought up, just think its more obvious the older you get.
  20. it's esential Rik if you dont want to cause friction
  21. apparently its the pivot arm and not the bearing. I'm assuming this is accessable from under the car as Mr Rose said, he was sat in the car whilst the mechanic was under it spraying the arm with lube
  22. Loads have tried it but it is a complete waste of money! the MPG is the first thing i noticed when i got my IS, there's no way of getting round it, its just part and parcel of owning the car. If you try the super unleaded you have to wait for a couple of fill ups as the system would need to be flushed of the standard stuff. In my experience though, the MPG gain evens out when compared with the cost of a full tank, only the super is better on the engine. You could always get an LPG conversion, but it's a pricey install and it'll take roughly a year for it to pay for itself but you'll get 3 times more miles out of the £60 you currently spend on filling your car.
  23. did you read the comment in your last thread!?
