  1. Maybe if he'd visited the site a little more so he knew the sense of humur of people on it. But he's only posted 17 times in 2 years, he might think it a little insensative. I know maybe better than most on here, that stick dished out on here is to be taken with a pinch of salt (remember my spoiler post ). Just didnt want them to think we were noobs and then leave the car as is rather than repair it.
  2. not sure my self, but PM Chris S. He should be able to answer you and give you a price if they do.
  3. the guys come on here, admitted his mistakes and is looking for assistance. All anyone has done to this point is critasize him, shame on everyone for kicking a man while he's down, at least he's attempting to rectify his error. Firstly, the cars have been know to drive for OVER 250,000 miles, so they are expertly built and as such you cant expect to do anything cheaply! Look around for parts though, and keep away from Lexus for bodywork including the alloys! Take the car to Lexus, and get what i think is called a VSR done, it'll be £25 plus VAT but it's money well spent and will high light ALL that is wrong. Lexus will also price to do the work reguired. Next take it to an independant garage and ask what they would charge for the work. The sensor problem will probably be best sorted by Lexus though. The guy in blackpool has received great reviews so i would go with him, you would save £210 straight away, once done get the tracking/allignment sorted as this is probably way out after the excess curbing. Personally i would leave all body repairs to the end as the engine is the heart of the machine and without it the car is useless! If you fancy a trip over to Leeds on Saturday I can meet up with you and take it to the garage I use when i dont go to Lexus.
  4. pop the boot, take the carpet liner stuff of the boot lid and you should see the holders there. Alternatively take it to a garage will probably charge £5-£10 for both bulbs and throw in the labour for free.
  5. No it's ok mate. we'll just see who they'd prefer.... I hasten to add that im fully qualified to do this mod and after an hour or so on photoshop tomorrow i will have the certificate to proove it.
  6. that just not ethical! and i thought people on here were alright. :)
  7. only twice VV!?!? Mines used about 8 times aday! 3 on the way to work usually aimed at other motorists cutting me up 3 on the way home for the same reason and the other two because i drive past a lass every morning whos so hot she gets two beeps! Sad but very true im affraid!
  8. Agree with Stav, for £110 id have learnt to do it myself! But, if anyone else gets quoted that (or indeed more) then PM me ill do it for half of what you're quoted!!
  9. easiest and one of the most enhancing mods possible! It's easy too, Jack the car up, take the wheel off, scrub the caliper with a wire brush and paint with desired colour of Hammerite!
  10. i get all my modding idea's from watching it
  11. Long time Leeds fan, but started following Spurs 2 years ago so i could have an interest in the Premiership as it didnt look like Leeds would be going back up any time soon.
  12. Corsa was my first car and (contrary to popular thought) Vandal is a style of Nike trainer which was the style my first pair of Limited edition trainers.
  13. it just says unspecified in the listing which is why i emailed. assuming someone has already emailed asking about shipping to our fair Island!?

  15. how much would you recon? ill email him about postage over here.
  16. i knew id find a use for it Rik, if not as a mod then for something it was intended for.
  17. Brett's looked into and it doesnt look like the Divx funtion that was released at the same time as the dash update is available in an offline format. In short, the console MUST be connected to live to get the update which is a huge spanner in the works as it was the divx function that was a selling point.
  18. So each day it requires a visit to each of the links!?
  19. thought you might have done the work for us
  20. i think Rik (Rikos) was selling one on hear previously. It would make me assume he has had them in the past so maybe drop him a PM!?
