yes only on the rear .i was under the impression that because the sport model had the 18 alloy wheels that this threw the speedo out more than usual .my friends standard gs300 speedo is quite accurate at high speed and mine is well out.

always had this size on the rear of my car .much better ride in my opinion .dont worry about speedo reading as it is well out anyway.the sport models speedo will be out by about 10 mph at 100 mph ( so your car will read 100 mph but you will only be doing around 90 mph)

No its the 225 quattro ,chipped to around 265 bhp .and he was not close for long :winky:

Not sure tbh .just see the car about an inch away from me behind .who ever it was tried to keep up but obviously could not as it was bit of a mismatch ,came past me as i turned of dual carrigeway doing silly speeds .dont remember your grille though ,thought it was just an standard one but to be honest it was so close i could only see the screen :D .

It just holds it in gear longer ,higher revs .but to be honest if you floor it in norm it will feel no different

As title note if a member .came up my rear and had a go on bluebell hill heading down to maidstone .i was in my partners audi black TT . title should read maidstone

i watched this yesterday and thought it was strange the guy with the camera stood still ,now i feel it was staged and there is a clip that states this to .just seems wierd the way it hits the wall gets air and the bloke just stays put

i think you are talking about the rear light warning signal ,this also comes on when brake fluid is low .

If the car has solanoids like paul says then i would almost certainly say that is your problem,i had to have a whole unit replaced as they could not replace single solanoid.and mine was affected by heat .

is it me or do they seem to change very quickly ,these lights are on a 50 mph duel carrigeway and you have to realy slam on the anchors to stop in time if they start to turn as you aproach.

Just been told that some traffic light cameras can do you for speeding ,anyone know wether this is only if you jump the light or are they active all the time for speeding .

I have a sprinter lwb and it has just notched up 100,000 with a few minor problems(gearstick snapped,engine managment light problems), ,they are by far the fastest van on the road but the downside is they are made from crap metal and rust ,mine is an 02 model and the rust is showing .had the reno master before that and thought it to was an ok van but did suffer a few major probs(gearbox) .if size is not an issue i would buy the toyota hiace or the v/w .if its a bigger van you want the new transit or the merc are both good vans but the new transit would be my choice if i had the money.if its a used van thats done some miles the sprinter would be my choice ,you only have to drive up and down the m20 a few times to see were the wise money go,s it is full of sprinters as they are the choice for the long haul companys wereas the transit is very much the builders/tradesmens van .

its a new speeding system ,it takes a picture then sends a bleeping signal to your car to tell you youve been nicked .only way to fix it is to slow down .

I had a simaler problem with a mx6 and it turned out to be a sticky solaniod ,not sure wether the lexus runs on the same system though .

Depends on the dealer ,most will refund in my opinion .

Cant see it being a problem with the box itself as this would reach the same temp in the summer or winter .

mine gets attention still mostly people asking what it is .also looks a lot newer than its 11 years so most people think its only a few years old .lost count of the conversations i have had over the years about the car.

They are nice ,would realy like one to replace my GS300 .Been thinking of a soarer for a while to garage and use as a weekend car ,but a convertible would be the nuts .what sort of money do these fetch .

For the low cost of pads i would just fit a new set from lexus and see if that cures the problem.

heard of a labradoodle (the one on top gear)but this one is a new one on me .seems there is a new in thing were everyone is crossing dogs and coming up with what they feel is the ultimate dog ,but to be honest they are what was called a mongrel years ago ,the only difference now is £500 plus (labradoodle)were as years ago they gave em away .nice looking dog though .

mine is still for sale as well if any one is interested ,passed mot yesterday no problems at all . 6 months tax as well

Nice to know their are still some honest people around ,i think you did the right thing .i did some work months back for a big charity which involved standing by my van collecting bags of clothes .we collected 300 bags in the back of my sprinter and right at the end some bloke told us that he had lost his wallet and thought it could be in one of the bags .we emptied the whole van,took about an hour and opened every bag ,found his wallet in almost the last bag (sods law) .he then emptied the contents of his wallet into the charities collection box must have been about £50 and was over the moon to have his wallet back .i would always hand a wallet or purse in because it was never mine to keep.
