  1. not sure tbh .but i kinow some imported cars have them added to pass mot etc..
  2. :D :D love it Love it, too! Especially as the march was for MIGRANTS, not illegals! This country has always been a mixture of folk. Our DNA comes from all over the place. And there are still more folk leaving than entering! Plus, the majority of migrants are skilled people, many of whom just happen to have been born in a different area of this EARTH than you. Don't fall for the newspaper hysteria about it all; it just feeds the basic instincts in the worst sense! Just think how people in other countries feel about the (English) louts who drunkenly abuse their country on cheap weekends away! Great ambassadors for this 'Great' Britain? Tolerance needed here. No-one is trying to do anything but have a life, bring up families..... well i think you will find our louts who go abroad do come back .and whilst i agree with you about we are a mixture of races etc etc i have to disagree as this is a new breed who do not want to work but ponce of our more than generous welfare system .walk down any high st in kent and you will see them always groups of young men wearing cheap leather coats with jeans and shoes, like little clones of each other .they spend all day eyeing up the talent and just making trouble .five years ago there was none now there are loads ,they do not work and do not want to .and the reason so many people are leaving britain is because it is not GREAT any more ,well not if your british anyway..
  3. i said the same thing to my other half .nice car though
  4. AA waranty is cheap and covers quite a bit .worth a look.
  5. This is a subject i feel so insensed about that i can not even write about it for fear of what i might say .all i will say is that this :tsktsk: country is shot to bits when it comes to looking after its own and i for one would refuse to pay my tax if i thought i would not go away for it .
  6. new rad fitted and 200 miles covered since ,all seems well with car .old rad had totaly disintigrated bottom left corner and was very brittle ,hole was about 5 inches square.seems that leaves and dirt gathers in between the two rads and keeps area damp thus rotting rad at bottom .easy job to change took about an hour.i would advise any one with the origanal toyota rad to have a good look at it, as when they go they go big time .rad cost £115 from rads direct on the internet ,good service .
  7. i would think a main dealer is your only hope ,car probaly thinks airbag has a fault or has gone off .you could try dissconecting battery for a while but its a long shot .
  8. i would hope so at that price ,but as its ebay you never know.lot of money to take a chance with . how much are they from lexus dare i ask
  9. No car should ever do that speed on the public road, and i aint one to preach but that is just stupid .plenty of tracks to do that on and if you can afford an M5 you can afford the price for the track day .
  10. changed rad and lost some oil from cooler at bottom of rad ,presume this is gearbox oil so need to top it up .anyone know correct procedure to do this ,ie what gear it needs to be in ,running or not?? .thanks in advance
  11. i agree ,bad idea .seen some golfs years ago leave workshops sounding like diesels ,good oil, frequent servicing and you should never need an engine flush

calander did happen if i remember cause i still have a copy .
  13. No i think they are a weak wheel and to be honest the 18'S suffer the same way ,just the extra size makes the 10" rears more prone to this .
  14. its why i took mine off .first sign is a slow puncture .they look good on the car but in my opinion not worth the hassle of the splits and the quickly worn tyres ,not to mention the price of the tyres .
  15. if they do it to cars over 10 years old mine will be useless to me .
  16. could be a fault with the ignition switch,just a guess .

A long time ago ,and if i remember right caused a shed load of problems .
  18. my point was that it is not an oem part but a recon unit .and tbh why would any one pay £700 to fit a rad ,its just a crazy price ,and the fact they give you £100 back for your old rad just says it all .
  19. £430 + vat for a radiator for a 11 year old car and that aint fitted .bill comes to nearly £700 to supply and fit a rad :tsktsk: .and here is the worst bit ,when asked if this is a lexus part i am told yes with out a doubt and if you give us back your old rad we will give you £100 of your bill .so lets get this right lexus part my :tsktsk: its a recon unit fron someone elses old lexus thats been reconditioned .in my eyes that dos not make it a lexus part.any way bought one from rads direct for £110 inc vat and it looks just like the one i have taken of inc the markings etc ,could it also be a lexus rad thats been reconned . Had an idea as well ,do you think lexus will still give me £100 for my old unit as then the new rad will have cost me :tsktsk: all. :D .sorry about the rant but after nearly six years of dealing with lexota you think i would be well used to the rip of prices and double standards of the main dealers.still they keep thinking that nice coffee and biscuits masks over the fact their prices are OTT especialy for the older cars .
