Yep thats the best place to put the passenger side one ..like peeps have said just use double sided sticky pads.....the only bugger was getting the bulb in the passenger side .....dosent help when you have big hands..

What you need to do is THE BROWN connecter ( in you hand ) THAT goes directly into the ballast...the ballast has a nobbly bit on it...the BROWN connecter has a slide connection on the top of it that has to go over the nobbly bit on the ballast...hey presto and it will work...... Then the connection from the ballast ( THE SEALED ONE ) with the little 2 black/yellow connection ( male connection i believe )simply connect that up to the other 2 little Black/ yellow connection ( FEMALE one) from the Xenon Bulb.....I think thats right...?? they are the only small black /yellow ones in the box...? Hope that helps you out matey.. :winky:

I believe its DOT 3..? brake fluid....if in doubt phone up Lexus and ask to speak to the service manager . ;)

If you ever need to get tar spots of use WD-40 and a soft cloth....then wash N wax after....comes of really easy...and dont cost to much.

If you put to fewer revs when engaging the clutch it will judder....it does take some time to get used to the throttle and matching the revs about 1500 is right... :winky:

Well my car is going into Lexus Hatfield on friday for a service..i will ask either the head service manager or the head mechanic....what the score is with the Cambelt change... :)

When i had brought my last IS200 about 4 years ago it was recomended by Lexus dealer (Twickenham i believe) that it was 6 years OR 100,000 miles which ever was he sooner..... 4 years on and with my 05 Plate IS200 When i brought it last year ..it was revised to 6years OR 60,000 miles again which is ever the sooner.. But to be honest if anyone has any slight know how with cars or any common sense when getting to 60,000 OR 6 years just have a look at the belts etc and inspect them ....if in doubt pop it in to a Lexus dealer & get them to check it over ( they wont charge you if they do it will be minimal ) and if all is ok then say to who ever the person is get them to put that in writing..... :winky:

well my car goes into Lexus Hatfield on friday for a service...they also mentioned having the aircon serviced...@ the cost of £99. So my point is what do they do for the aircon service...is it just a case of replacing filter and taking old gas out cleaning and re-gasing? if it is i will get the boys @ WIM to do it.

I believe they use a form of sillicone glue to hold the window in the plastic braket inside..Just check the felt strips on the window arnt bunged up....and also ( if you are having a look yourself ) just spray some wd40 or something like that on the slider mechanism for the window..and see if that helps......

got my mintex discs and pads there to.now on to the back set,does anybody have a guide on doing the back brakes just so i have a ref thanks I think someone has done a walk through in the knowledge section....should be able to print it of mate.

inside im looking to finish off with the visual side of my install with 2 headrest screens connected to an ps2/xbox and maybe up front with a new single/double din dvd player and sub. outside im swaying towards the trd/tte side skirts and maybe rear bumper add on and a carbon trust replica front splitter(like is200sams)coupled with matching jdm spoiler(like aztecs) and maybe if the other half lets me a carbon fibre bonnet and matching boot lid,phew :P Just a few more mods planned then mate...
