Yes mate they can check it with a dial out gauge...or check it with a straight edge.......reason i say is coz i had the same problem my car had a fight with a pot hole and a kerb went through all the obvious that everyone else is saying .....still the problem excist...so had a look at the offending side ( NS ) and had Tony barber and Mark and Tony bones at Wim have a look/ taken for a drive...well bit the bullit and got a new hub and bearing kit and well .problem solved....and also Ormi says he has seen this alot on toyota`s..

As i said it could be one of you hub surfaces warped...reason being as this will get hot when you brake the longer you drive the car the more you brake the more the hub will get hot as its in direct contact with the disc....also check wheel bearing...

ive got bruising to my leg where it hit the door panel and my shoulders etc are stiff i'll try get them if there's chance to Get to the docs a.s.a.p mate get some compensation..but will need docs report.

Sounds to me like one of your hub flange surface is slightly warped...it only has to be slightly warped and at speed it will vibrate like a rampant rabbit.through your steering or when you are braking... as well that`s what you wheels are mounted on.. ....if you get a new hub flange you will need the bearing kit aswell.....a new hub flange is about £100 including vat ( lexus only im affraid ) bearing kit get from allparts about £50..... ;)

I believe most of the TUNER companys that do up the new Nissan GTR-35 use Castrol edge...to me that is a mega sophisticated engine...so if its good for them well would be good for any ....normal engine...

Already tried that one.. :winky: still the same knocking noise...it does every now and again but this could be due to weather....i defo think its either anti roll , drop links,shocks ,top mount area.... I think its the inner oil valve as if it has a problem to do if it gets oil to certain parts and if it doesnt then it knocks ( metal to metal) and sends the sound up through the body of the shock...and hence why you can hear it inside the cabin and also outside.....

Had mine serviced at Lexus they used Shell helix 5-40 fully synthetic.....same as atce4 ...very good oil but mega expensive......was also looking at maybe changing in the future if i keep my car seems that alot of people seem to use MILLER`s OIL...

Would you get any more torque/horsepower by fitting a hi flow cat.? as i know that they class cat`s as giving the car cancer.

I looked at those on Ebay...saw they were a half match set so didnt bid.....hence why id never buy used suspension set...dont know how they have been used and well surley they would of been compressed to the car it was on previous?
