Thats what i've always thought...but it is really annoying when you try to pull out onto a road and an OAP on a mobility scooter is pullin off quicker I'm very disappointed ........ firstly you've admitted being beaten off the line by an OAP on a mobility scooter .............secondly you get 50 points for an OAP and 50 for the scooter, so you've missed 100 points by not wiping them out I am joking, just in case anyone thinks i'm a OAP ram raider!! :shutit: You better watch out you will have the village council on ya case for ramming old gits!

Yes mate thats what i will do after i clay bar it...will give a good polish got some sonus sfx-2 anti swirl + gloss enhancing polish,its good stuff and i dont have really any swirl marks,got rid of those when i first brought the car. :D might have a few lite scraches but will polish out before it gets sealed and then waxed. :)

I think all kids that leave school nowadays should go and do an army course for 6months-1 year when they leave..cant believe what the kids as young as 13-14 get up to like the stabbing`s mugging,vandalisom etc....would not of dare do it when i was young...and was brought up on not the best council estate at the time....and also get what you mean about always being in at the right time even though we didnt have any mobiles watches etc.....i think alot of it is to do with knowing that under 18 years old you can get away with it as the police courts etc are powerless to do anything....but they dont realise that later on in life it would effect there chances in life for the things they done earlier on in there lives..... . just my opinion...dont mean to sound harsh but things in todays world are getting worse.and yep i sound old !!!. well getting there 33 in 5 months.

Doesnt the ecu cut back the engine power when its cold to stop you from driving to fast to soon..... and so stoping any engine wear before the oil has got up to temp? i.e stop you over revving sharply?

Just thought about it just to try and break up all the crap that the road puts on my car then give it a good soak in some foam wash...give it a good clean,then clay bar it all over,seal it after that then ( just ordered) some collinite wax...prob give it 2 coats of wax then should be ready for all the s**t and crap thats on the roads.

If its the little sidelight 501 wedge type bulb have a look on ebay get yaself some led ones...as for ya stereo well doesnt sound to good to me looks like your stereo will pack up soon when it does best bet is to buy a stereo harness from ebay or look on the threads on here and get your self a new head unit one from halfords or somewhere...

Hi was thinking of getting some P21 citrus degreaser and using this before i give my car a good old detailing ready for all the winter road crap .....any body else used it or could recomened what degreaser to use..????????

Must say it seems like good stuff and resonable prices aswell....its a pity you didnt put any pics up so i/we could of seen the results using the collinite 476 wax. my girlfriend thinks i clean it to much and im obsesed with cleaning it.....shes got a nissan micra and man it looks like a tropical rain forest has started growing on the inside and outside :duh:

hi mate ive got the same prob with the coolant leaking from where you fill it up it either comes from the top cap ( you can see the coolant where it has dried up ) or from the over flow expansion pipe that comes from it.......had a look at the cap and there is no rubber ring to seal it which is strange just the plastic cap that clips on..do i get a new cap?

rob where can you get collinite 476 from? im using carnuba wax P21s at the moment anf klasse acrillic sealent before that. wozza is there much difference at the back with the wider section tyre you have? ive got the "18" 225/40/18 all round just wondered if you could notice any difference thats all....maybe a bit more grippy??

Well technically i am legal on my car then? if i have my hids fitted when i get them. 1. i can control the level of the beam inside the car 2.i have washer jets on my car. 3.coz my lexus have twin lamps my dipped and main when on are on together. 4. always clean my car( at least 2 times a week) so no probs there,and wipe the lamps if dirty anyway. 5. and if the beams need adjusting the mot station when you have it done will tell you that they need adjusting OR that they are illegal.! trust me i have a friend who owns a garage and is MOT approved and to his knowledge the goverment and police are not going to issue MOT failier`s to the convertion of hids on cars, as long as the beam on the right hand side does not go above a certain height as to dazzle on coming drivers. just my 2 pence worth!!! shoot me down in flames, but i will stick 2 fingers up to the people that say you cant have HIDS..!!! :D as long as im safe at night driving. tell the police to do something about ILLEGAL DRIVERS with no mot,insurance,or tax..
