    i think i've left £80 odd quid on tower bridge road. i must remember to scoop it up next time i go past it I think the £80 is payment for the fine (& 3 points) cos those 20mph cameras do actually work there :o :winky: after the cameras round the corner, heading north, just past the traffic lights you have to do a u turn to get onto the highway... that corner begs to be abused

    nissan 200 all the way, make sure its the 2.0 sr20det and not 1.8 ca20det. the 2.0 is chain driven, 1.8 belt. its one less thing to worry about, plus more power!

    just read this thread, and from a fresh point of view, sounds like a maf problem lexus's solution may not solve the problem. the ecu is telling them its starting off in 2nd, but not why. if the problem was before the signal reached the gear box, the new gear box would start in 2nd anyway. my gs300 flies from a standing start, hot or cold(ish) stick the car in "L" and see how she pulls, should be very strong. if you cant select "L"(1st gear) then you know its the gear box (do this once the car starts giving you trouble)

    i've always wondered if you could turn the petrol tank into an lpg one? obviously you couldnt fill up with petrol, but if you have a local station with lpg it shouldnt be a problem...? anyone done a full conversion? or is petrol needed in the cycle to use lpg?

    part exchange you will struggle to get anywhere near £3k. i've had to walk away from many dealers as they wont offer me much. i just cant let the car go for £2k!!!!!! most i've been able to get a quote for is £2750, lowest £2k at car giant. Paul somehow managed to sell his, though i honestly think he held a gun to some ones head forcing them to buy it off him :P :offtopic: stumbled into you on the st forum paul, nice motor! was thinking st tdci but then found the problems/help section on the forum :(

    now the question is, do i spend £20 on nintendo's cable, or £10 on gamewares cable..... £10 wins!! i remember the gadget show reviewed expensive cables vs cheap ones... there was no difference at all

    i think i figured it out.... my cables have the red,white and yellow, apparently components have 5 wires... so im 2 short :P thanks anyways!

    everything on the internet says component cables are the only thing you can use. they dont even make hdmi cables for the wii. also other people use edtv / hdtv with components

    Hi folks! quick question for people with wii's! we finally set up the living room with new hd tv, in the menu/screen it has the option of 50hz, 60hz or EDTV/HDTV 480p. the latter is not highlighted therefore i cannot select it! the wii is connected via component > scart. i tried component only but still doesnt become selectable. i cant find anything on this on the net :( does anyone know what im doing wrong? thanks!

    hi Gord! how long did you have the merc? i've more experience with the zafira but never had a merc before, nore do friends so dont know about the long run.

    theres an electical issue with the mercs up until 2006 when they fixed it (apparently) mainly with the fancy extras like sat nav and phone system. luckily none of these are needed for me. im aiming for a 2003-2005 model
