    When you change the battery on the GS it has a security feature to stop it being started. You have to turn the key to the accessory position (2nd click) and leave it like that for 7 minutes, then it will start. So if your service guy said he did some work on your car and charged you lots then he is telling porkies.

    Yes, for the light to come on, the sensor wire in the pad will have to have worn down a bit and make contact with the disc.

    I didn't really propose properly, we had been together for ages and always said we would get married once we could afford a house together, once we got house plans sorted, we started on the wedding plans. Although I did go down on one knee just for the sake of it, even though we had already made bookings etc
