    I thought that at first as they may have done this when fitting the iPod kit, but wouldn't that have reset the trip mileage as well? Maybe it did and Lexus drove 25 miles and not 8????

    I had mine for just under 2 years before I sold it in May, did about 14000 miles in it

    I don't recommend driving the GS with no ABS and no VSC. It can be lethal in an emergency. Surely no more lethal than any of the millions of cars driving around that have no ABS or VSC fitted at all? This is Maneesh we are talking about here, he drives everywhere on the rev limiter

    I have never seen a V5 say what mk the car is, ie my mk2 didn't say type -2 on the V5, maybe another mk1 owner could look at their V5for you
