  2. Asked to guy in the uk of ebay to relist the flip lexus fobs, spoke to my local Toyota dealer today and their service manager said that if i pop down with the key he would cut it for free......result.
  3. So if i buy one of these new flick key fobs will it need to be coded or just swap over the guts and get it cut?
  4. Question, do is200 key fobs have a built in immobilizer? Or is their just the c/locking buttons and key shaft?
  5. Same here, they take a few secs to warm up, but boy do they make a diferance.
  6. Not even if Pam Anderson naked with a "free fuel for life" card was at the end of it.............FOOK THAT!
  7. I used to do this many years ago when i worked for a delivery firm and started at 5am, the heater would also warm the whole car so it was nice to get straight into on a wintery morning, just kept the extention cable end in a plastic bag tucked away so it was always there.
  8. Think if it was a buckled wheel, or egg shaped wheel it would have shown up when he got them balanced?
  9. Only 60gb PS3's have the PS2 backwards compatible mode built into them, as of now NO PS3 games have the "Ring" on them. GT5, when it comes out next year some time, will have it belive me... :whistling:

  11. Is this the kind of tool kit you have at work Stav? A differant colour for every type of job?
  12. Neather realy stav, it came on the pug and when i started to look for a lex i also looked for a plate but nothing took my fancy so kept the old one, its only to hide the cars real age and it good enough to do the job........for now! LOL.
  13. When i bought my old 306 S16 it had an irish plate on it that hid the cars real age, so when i bought the lex i sent off the docs to the DVLA to transfer the plate from one to the other, and today i got the slip back plus tax disc to say that i can now put the plate off the pug and on to my lex. Bought a set of ehm cough "show plates" off the bay to go on my new pride and joy. Photos to follow...
  14. Ok my ate who used to work for Rebok had an is200 for a works ponny, and he told me that the heated seats gave him the trotts!!! YOU HAVE BEING WARNED!!!! LOL DONT GET COURT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE WITH ONLY A WALLET FULL OF £20 TO USE AS TOILET PAPER...
  15. One of the things that let the is200 down is it "beep beep" girlie horns, so i was gonna fit some air horns. My old 306 had a great set of air horns fitted as std and i miss them :crybaby: So iv had a scout over flebay and was thinking of get a set of these Simple swap over not much extra wireing neaded. Anyone fitted air horns like the above or simlar? When i told the girlfriend my intentions she said "im not going in your car if it sound like the f...ing general lee!" Hope iv got a bit more taste tham that.......
  16. Ok cheers for all the replys regardless of what terminology was use to get you,re message across. Off to Leyland tonigh so ill have a play with the air con all the time if it dont screw up my MPG's.
  17. Ok, so yesterday was as dry as a bucket full o fish and as a result of the cold rain and a warm cabin the front window kept on fogging up! The only way i found to clear said fogging was to flick on the A/C for about 20secs which did the trick. Is there a better setting on my heater-A/C i should be using to avoid the dreaded fog returning???
  18. Thanks for tall the kind words, hope to be getting my old irish plate transfered onto it in the next few weeks.

  21. Gave the car a quick wash over today so took some photos while it was clean and it was'nt peeing down... As you can see in the shots of the bay i,v replaced alot of the rusty bolts with s/steel allen head bolts, also gonna take some of the brackets to a mate and get them powdercoated in black as their rusty and it make the bay look sh!t...
