Right, the air filter in my car is filthy and needs changing but I havent had a chance yet but I'm not sure on if I should go for the simple route and get a K&N panel filter or make a custom induction kit like IIRC aztec did. From what I remember he stated that costs wise it works out around £40 so this is only a few quid more than a panel filter so what does everyone recommend I do as I cant make my mind up. What application would be better for the car?

the VQ35 aint a renault engine mate. its purely a nissan unit but used in a couple of renaults ;)

After ages of hunting the day after the tickets all sold out I finally tracked some down and won them on ebay but just today as I checked my email the guy emailed me telling me not to pay under any circumstances as he's had issues with the O2. Shortly after he sent me a transaction cancelling request through ebay saying that.... "This case has been opened by the seller with the following reason: Other reason. Additional information provided by the seller: well this is just great been contacted by o2 box office there has been a right ***** up there end sold tickets multible times of the same ones, as a result mine are not valid due to the volume of poeple trying to by them. sorry im sorry to say we will have to cancel this order and i hope you find them elsewhere" Seems like the O2 have messed a load of people around so anyone whos bought tickets then please check that your tickets are valid. I'm lucky that I hadnt paid yet so got out of the transaction quite easily and it was left as the sellers problem and not mine so now its back on the hunt for tickets again for me.

As for the nearside front wing, theres a guy I used who sells on ebay but I cant find his number at the moment. He breaks lexus's so always has parts available and at decent prices. I'll see if I can find his number and give you a shout mate.

They're about £25 on ebay. Theres been some on there recently but dont know about now. I can defo say that the trim moulding on the passenger side wing is £20 from lexus but....at some point, I think on roughly 2003 onwards cars the trim mouldings changed slightly and were much thinner so make sure you get the right thickness mate.

Just noticed that you're from stockport mate, I'd defo pop down to lexus bolton then as its only bolton for our area that does body parts, thats what lexus manchester said anyway. Ask for alan and say that Rehan sent you and he should also give you a discount if you say that you're a memeber of the club.

So you're basically after a full front end mate? Dont bother getting the front panel from a scrap yard if you need that, they're cheaper directly from lexus. I paid £163 inc vat and discount from lexus bolton for a full front panel whilst a breakers wanted £250. Theres a few bumpers on ebay at the moment but dont think theres any in plat ice. Theres a black bonnet on ebay but its best to get hold of one with hinges and tbh, you'll be extremely lucky if you found a bonnet in the same colour as ur car as it took me months to find a bonnet. As for the rad, go to discout-cooling.co.uk, they've got an excellent service and decent quality rads at low prices. The brackets that you refer to for the headlights, do you mean the ones that run under the lower edge of the lights? Best bet is to get them from the dealers as well, they aint that expensive either. I've tried ringing ticketmaster loads of times and cant get thru, all I get is "this it a BT announcement, the telephone network is busy at the moment please try again later" lol. first time i rang i got an engaged tone but just get the service message constantly now

I've been up and on the website since 6:55am and I still cant get tickets!! Had the other half on the phone on the other end looking at the same time. She found some but they were crap tickets so left em. I'm still looking at the moment but I think the site has crashed as cant even get the dates up to search for tickets. it just says processing but on my first or second attempt I got all the way up to the bit where u select how many tickets u want and enter the verification text but then it made me wait while looking for tickets and crashed.

U wont have any issues with the blueprint stuff mate. I've been using their parts for ages now on my civic and never had any issues. the oil filters are of very good quality and I used a blueprint filter on the lex when I put it on the road last week. Just a little tip tho mate, if you go to andrew page the filter is...are u prepared for a shock....£2.21! lol..the price may vary a tiny bit but will always be under £3. Seeing as ur in the north west there should be one within reach of u. I got my belt kit from andrew page as well and got that for the silly price of £77+vat this of course being a full blueprint kit and the belt that it came with was made in japan and of very high quality. I got the low price for the kit after asking them for a discount and saying that I was a member of the club. All this was purchased from andrew page stockport and I spoke to Mark.

dont forget about the heating element in the seat which could get damaged if u get it proper wet. When I cleaned the interior down of my car I just used a damp cloth which had been dipped in a fairy liquid/water mix then rung out. it wasnt a strong mix but cleaned the interior well and then I had the heating on and heated seats on just to make sure everything dried out well.

I'm sure there was a walkthru somewhere on the site on how to remove the standard stereo but I cant find it so if someone could help me then it would be much appreciated. Cheers

is it an auto or manual mate? it should say if its an SE or sport on your logbook but sounds like its one of the later LE's if i'm correct as its got full leather
