  1. Woh! what mods has he done? From what I've read I thought the 1G-FE didnt have that much potential
  2. lol! I knew I was on the right lines. Its due to the kaizen approach that they are so successful IIRC.
  3. Considering the tuning potential of the 1G-FE I'm guessing that many people would say that it would be more worthwhile to do a supra conversion or something along those lines as if I'm correct the 1G-FE would need a lot of work done to it internally as well as other bits for it to be capable of that sorta power. Not sure if theres any bits available for it either tbh which would enable you to push it that far.
  4. he's a good actor but they need to stop putting him in useless films.
  5. just when we least expected theres a crank 2 coming out! out of all films why this. the first one was soooo weird trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/crank2/medium.html
  6. I'm sure it was honda which used the kaizen approach... I remember covering it briefly in one of my business related modules at uni
  7. lmao! whoever it is I think its given him super brainyness!
  8. did you not ask the owner the mileage when you rang them up for the address mate? thats the first thing I'd ask. good luck anyway and hope it really is a minter with low mileage
  9. I know what you mean. Its their problem so they're the ones that are gonna be getting stung. In total they're looking at £50ish for the washer jet covers and passenger side wing trim
  10. They asked me to see if I can get some from a breakers first before I jump in and buy them from lexus but think I may just sting them with the lexus bill lol. Teaches them a lesson for messing up
  11. lol...best of luck with the sale mate. Mines only a 1.4iS so is cheap to insure and run but have had a few people ask me the price as I've put up for sale posters in the windows but think with the whole recession thing the markets are crap for selling as people are wanting cars silly cheap these days. How olds ur lex mate and how much u get it for if u dont mind me asking? I still aint even put mine on the road lol
  12. I've still got a civic! lol. Had my MB2 for nearly 5 years but although its been a solid car its been time to change for a while now so after wanting either a gen 7 celica or a new accord diesel I ended up going with the lexus after finding a bargain that I just couldnt resist and it being my project for a while. My civic's up for sale at the moment but I havent put any adds up online yet but when I get a chance I will be doing. Best car I've ever owned and would recommend them any day ;) as for forums, I'm used to be on honda revolutions which then changed to honda evolutions and I still go on that from time to time. Also on the type r forums as always wanted a CTR but due to being a student it woulda killed my finances and insurance. I'm on other forums as well.
  13. As per title I need the passenger side wing trim if anyones got one available. I've seen versions of this, one which is slightly thinner and less pronounced from the body and one which is thicker. I need the thicker version. Thanks
  14. As above, I need both drivers side and passenger side headlight washerjet covers as the garage misplaced my ones and still cant find them so have asked me to get hold of some and they'll pay me then so has anyone got any? Cheers Rehan
  15. Best to be on the safe side wozza than have ur cam belt go due to failure of the idler pully. I'll be getting all 3 bits changed when I do it. From what I know the idler pully is just a loose pulley that the cam belt goes over and doesnt have any other job apart from helping the cam belt along but if for instance the pulley were to be worn then this could easily cause belt wear and thats the last thing we want one our hands when we got a new belt.
  16. Just a little tip for everyone, lexus themselves DO NOT change the idler pully when doing a cam belt change. They ONLY change the belt and tensioner. I've been told this by lexus bolton and they said that its ok not to change the idler pully. If they've had any problems or comebacks due to this though I dont know but seems like they hadnt as if they had then I'm sure they woulda changed their practices.
  17. They were going for £50 starting price and no one bidded, neither did I as couldnt make my mind up about them. Woulda been a bargain tho. The guy email me saying they're off a 2005 car, which had 225/45/17 fronts 245/45/17 rears and have covered average mileage. recently refurbed. asked them what the damage was and was told it was only superficial scuffing etc and they werent bent. wonder how much a decent set of tyres would be as debating contacting the guy n getting them off him as backup wheels
  18. bump...anyone? also, how much are these wheels worth?
  19. so if these ended up the wider versions would they still fit?
  20. Not sure on the size matey, but would think your other tyres would fit if there the 17" ? Wildybeast would probably tell you more on what size tyres he has mate :) Edit: just found a post that says 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear fitted to the IS250/220 so do look wider? could there be any problems with rubbing on wider rears u think mate?
